Free healthcare for Americans/Reason #1

If Americans have Healthcare it could help a lot of citizens who are too old and cannot move
anymore or the terminally ill

Uninsured people receive less medical care and less timely care, they have worse health
outcomes, and lack of insurance is a fiscal burden for them and their families. Moreover, the
benefits of expanding coverage outweigh the costs for added services.

If you have healthcare you could avoid dealing with being sick because you could get help
immediately.

All Americans should have right to free healthcare, because it could help a lot of citizens who
can’t afford it and may have money troubles or could be really sick.

i think the elderly should mainly have it because when they grow old they become fragile and
can get ill very ill, also staff workers who may work like fast food jobs or hospital jobs should be
receiving free healthcare from that their jobs.

Also bankruptcy is a thing some people may be broke and can't afford it, it should be free, people
may lose their life from not being able to get the help they need.

No one should die from not having healthcare, Americans that are citizens should be able to have
rights to free healthcare, i don’t think it's fair how citizens are paying expensive prices just to
have healthcare to take care of them and their families.

Health insurance covers essential health benefits critical to maintaining your health and treating
illness and accidents.

Health professionals play a central and critical role in improving access and quality health care
for the population. They provide essential services that promote health, prevent diseases and
deliver health care services to individuals, families and communities based on the primary health
care approach.
Free healthcare for Americans/Reason #2

Some people might not be able to afford healthcare i think that Government should provide
free universal health care because people pay taxes and they should have some benefits for
paying them. People also can't afford some paying insurance but they do pay taxes.

Single-payer health-care (in which the government pays for universal coverage, typically
through taxes) helps keep costs down for two reasons: It means that the government can regulate
and negotiate the price of drugs and medical services, and it eliminates the need for a vast private
health-insurance bureaucracy.

Universal health care is a system that provides quality medical services to all citizens. The
federal government offers it to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Despite some
similarities, Obamacare is not universal health care. ... Most Universal health care is funded by
general income taxes or payroll taxes.

With the passing of the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, there is no longer a limit on how
much your health insurance will pay. Before Obamacare was law, health insurance policies had
a lifetime maximum of $1 million, $2 million, or sometimes $5 million dollars.
Free healthcare for Americans/Reason #3

Deaths can occur due to not having proper healthcare, After years of dealing with people who are
insured, people who are uninsured and health insurance companies, I know that having real,
comprehensive coverage can mean the difference between life and death.

Using national health surveys, doctors and academics have tested whether a lack of health
insurance increases the probability of death. Most have concluded that it does.

Those who could afford to keep their health insurance under the bill, for example, could
nonetheless find that rising costs force them to choose cheaper options or forego certain
treatments altogether.

The most cited was published by the American Journal of Public Health in 2009 and found that
nearly 45,000 Americans die each year as a direct result of being uninsured.

In America, deep inequality can affect the usefulness of data like this. Lots of things can increase
an American’s chances of being sick – being a person of color or being poor to name just two –
and if those factors overlap with a lack of health insurance, it can be difficult to determine what
exactly is affecting an individual’s risk of death.

In the Harvard study, the researchers had 9,000 people in their dataset – enough that they were
able to ensure they were really measuring the impact of a lack of health insurance.

The researchers found that a lack of health insurance had a mortality hazard ratio of 1.40. In
other words, they concluded that Americans without health insurance were 40% more likely to
die than those with it, even after taking into account the individual’s “gender, age, race/ethnicity,
poverty income ratio, education, unemployment, smoking, regular alcohol use, self-rated health,
physician-rated health and body mass index”.

The researchers calculated that in 2005, lack of health insurance resulted in 44,789 deaths of
Americans age 18 to 64.

For one thing, the numbers do not necessarily match up. A 2002 study published by the Institute
of Medicine found that 18,000 people died each year due to lack of health insurance. A study
published by the Urban Institute put the figure at 22,000 deaths in 2006.
Free healthcare for Americans/Conclusion

All americans should have rights to free health care, Because it could be used for the elderly and
the terminally ill, it would be help to some people who can’t afford it because they may really
need it, citizens can die from not getting the help they need, when there is something that can be
done.

Healthcare is something that you must have, a lot can happen just from not having healthcare or
the proper help, like death, being really sick or even worse and the only people who can change
it is our government, No one plans to get sick or hurt, but most people need medical care at some
point.Health insurance covers these costs and offers many other important benefits.Health
insurance protects you from unexpected, high medical costs. You pay less for covered
in-network health care, even before you meet your deductible.

The reason why this topic matter to me is because I feel like all americans should be able to
receive free healthcare and i just dont think its fair how citizens should have to pay expensive
prices just to make sure that them and their families have the help they need.

This topic is important to me because It also makes an important contribution to economic

progress, as healthy populations live longer, are more productive, and save more. Many factors
influence health status and a country's ability to provide quality health services for its people.

Our society is concerned about healthcare because The United States needed to reform health
care because the cost was so high. Medical bankruptcies affected up to 2 million people. Rising
health care costs threatened to consume the entire federal budget. It made the cost of preventive
care unaffordable. That sent many low-income people to the emergency room, raising costs even
higher.

The big picture of healthcare is Health care makes up approximately one-sixth of the U.S.
economy and impacts everyone directly as we all have health care needs. The AHA provides
insight into key healthcare trends.Hospitals, physicians, nurses, payers, pharmaceutical
companies, medical device manufacturers and others comprise the healthcare field. All have a
role in improving care and ensuring affordability.
