SUBJECT: ADF PAPER SLIPPING NOISE

SYMPTOM:

PARTS
During a duplex job, the sound of paper slipping may be heard during the switchback stage.

CAUSE:
The tension on the tension belt is too high for the torque limiter. As a result, the reverse roller stops too
suddenly and the paper slips on the roller.

MECHANICAL
SOLUTION:
The parts listed have been modified to resolve this symptom. If the symptom is reported install the following
parts:

• Bracket: Motor: Paper Feed: B8724141

• Roller: Reverse: Drive: B8723261
• Flange: Pulley: B7894257
