SUMMARY

As per Supply Contract for MV Capacitor bank ( 2 x 6000 kVAR ) and Installation of
NR4 AFR Project, Samwha will supply 2 units MV Capacitor bank. The MV Capacitor
bank was manufactured according to IEC at their factory in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

To ensure a proper working system, SAMWHA conducted Factory Acceptance Test

(FAT) on 27, 28 November 2013 at South Korea together with HIL. The tests are
performed in accordance with contractual requirements and the specific test schedule
for each test. The FAT started with as exhaustive Visual Inspection followed the by a
complete signal test and performance test.

The testing of first capacitor bank has been completed in accordance with procedures
and checklist. The test system was found with deficiencies according deficiency List. It
has been agreed that the Minor Deficiencies will be completed until 10th December
2013. The FAT has been approved by all parties (Samwha and HIL). The second

capacitor bank was the chance to make visual only. Afterward, they will make the
internal SAMWHA Factory tests and submit the protocol to Holcim.

OBJECTIVES

The present report is dedicated to inform what we discovered during FAT. Deficiencies
were noted in the Deficiency List, whereby differentiation was made minor deficiencies.
In principle any deficiency shall satisfactorily be rectified in accordance with the terms of
the contract and/or prior to the supplier applying for any subsequent test respectively.

CONCLUSION

In overall the FAT was acceptable but with several recommendation.

RECOMMENDATION

During the FAT following important improvements/rectifications have been identified:

1. The installed fuses should be replace with circuit breaker.

2. Colors of terminal tubes should be as follows :
- Phase R = Red ( Already complied )
- Phase S = Yellow ( existing white not complied )
- Phase T = Black ( existing blue not complied )
3. Color of grounding cable should be replace with Green strip yellow.
4. 6 Heater and thermostat shall be ship and installed later by contractor in the site.
5. The space for the incoming cable should be secured according to the design by
SAMWHA.
6. SAMWHA should be provide complete test report including setting values.
7. SAMWHA should be provide engineer during commissioning test and training.
8. Portable test equipment ( AVO meter ) not calibrated.
9.
Performance test for actual application cannot conduct because existing power source
is 11 kV, but for control stepper, OCR, UVR, Measurement test and Circuit control was
completely tested.
