questions and answers to the student comments box in 5.05 and submit for grading.

Part 1:

From memory, draw a floor plan of your home on paper. Be sure to indicate where hallways,
rooms, door, windows, and large pieces of furniture occur. Label any pertinent information.
Pretend you are drawing this map for a person who has never been in your home before
and is walking through your house in complete darkness. This is your cognitive map that
you are going to lend to them to make it through without tripping and running into any
walls or furniture. Take a photo or scan of the floor plan, and upload this to the assignment.

Part 2:
Once you have finished your floor plan, walk through your home and compare your created
map with the actual layout of your home.

Part 3: Answer each question with a minimum of 2-3 sentences.

Are there any rooms or specific I feel like my room is the most accurate out of all the
areas of your floor plan that are rooms. I included bookshelves here as “large pieces of
more detailed than other furniture,” but I guess I interpreted that term as
rooms/areas? Why or Why not? “important or useful pieces of furniture,” the only
bookshelves I use in my home are in my room.

Did you have any specific area I had trouble remembering my parents bedroom and
of the house that you had bathroom as I am not in there often. I le I went there
difficulty remembering when more often I feel like I would remember things easier.
