The potential effects of self-care and stress management techniques to increase employees’
effectiveness and influence positive customer service outcomes, performance, and wellbeing
have often taken for granted. Today, employees experience increased stress as a result of more
work hours and higher workloads. Research studies demonstrate the value to an organization
and to individuals of educating employees about stress and self-care. Studies also show that
being aware of individual reaction patterns is vital to learning more effective coping mechanisms
and enhances the wellbeing of the employees. This two (2) hour psychoeducational program
aims to provide participants introduction to mental health, wellbeing, stress, and self-care.
Further, the practitioner will also provide practical self-care and stress management exercises
such as mindfulness and logotherapy to foster wellbeing and productivity.
