Nowadays, and more in an increasingly technological environment where online

sales take center stage, it is not enough to have a good product and a good price.
It is necessary to have accessibility to the product, that is, that the client
understands and knows that he will have the product at his disposal in a short
space of time (thanks to the design of a good distribution system). It is about
covering and satisfying the expectations and needs of the client in all its aspects
(good product, good price and provide immediately).

It is important to work to build a good distribution channel, which gives great security
and tranquility to the company, making sure that the product will arrive in the ideal
and optimal conditions at the hands of the customer.

In this text we are given a brief description of the types of transport of goods that
exist today, and that always as exporters we will have to enter to interact with them
and that the way to choose the means as we will transport the products must be
balanced between time and cost. It is very important to take into account the needs
of the nature of the cargo we want to transport and the volume of it. We must take
into account the economic resources that the company has. Maritime transport
allows a greater variety of products to be transported and has a lower cost than air,
while air transport is faster and allows greater coverage, but is considerably more
expensive and is subject to greater cargo restrictions. Ground transportation is
cheaper and more flexible, but it is considerably more expensive and subject to
greater cargo restrictions. It has greater geographical restrictions and may be
affected by the state of roads and traffic. As we can realize there are many options
that we can consider when choosing how we can send the merchandise. You have
to take into account the resources and objectives of each company to choose the
most convenient.
