Table 1 shows the descriptive mean and percentage analysis of the

implemented strategic intervention material of business mathematics on the

simple and compound interest. The formulated SIM was categorically divided

into 4 activities, assessment, and enrichment activities to walkthrough the

least mastered skills of the simple and compound interest. The scores in 4

activities, assessment and enrichment were recorded, analyze and applied

specific analysis for improvement. There were 6 sections being implemented in

the said strategic intervention material namely; the STEM, GAS, ABM, ACP,

H.E. of the grade 11 curriculum. The data have shown a dramatic interest that

SIM formulated was effective and there was a clear point view of the learners.

There, we can see that STEM got a higher percentage of improvement 88.76%.

On the other hand, Accountancy Business and Management occupied low

percentage of improvement where they got 79.69% in their activities,

assessment and enrichment.


The mean percentage score of each activity showed a very dramatic order

follows a descending order as shown in the table. Activity 1(FILLED ME UP) got

83.40%, activity 2 (MATCH ME) 81.88%, Activity 3 (COMPLETE MY FUTURE)

got 80.68 while activity 4 (DIG ME UP) 79.68 respectively. Among the activities

in the SIM, activity number 1, the DIG ME UP (Simple Interest) got a highest

percentage mean (83.40%) which indicate that students in this activity find it

simpler. As to the assessment is concern students showed a relevant indication

that they are learning with the activities previously answered since their

assessment is increasingly prevailed. On the other hand, the enrichment

activity got a mean of 82.63 still improving and they are learning.
