Q..Why do I want to become an
engineer?

 I want to become an engineer because It is

very good opportunity to serve the country.
 Engineering wasn't my first choice in college,
but it quickly became apparent that it was the
right one.
 Engineering is viewed as the backbone of our
society.

Engineering a promising career and a

creative thinking:
 With the transparent career progression,
engineers do not have to worry a lot about how
to advance their career, instead they can focus
more on their work itself.
 Engineering is not just about logic but also about
creativity. In an age where technology changes
each minute, engineers need to think critically to
discover new ideas, create new things, and come
up with solutions to new problems brought about
by the ever-changing technological landscape.

Solves problems:

 I choose to be an engineer because I thought

it would be a lot of fun! Engineering is the
field that solves the most impactful of our
problems in the world, like creating clean
energy or detecting cancer.
 The innovation and the creativity that drives
our society forward are inspired by the
teachings of engineering, whether it is
transporting on a bus or making a phone call,
the work of an engineer is experienced..

Detail of electrical components used in engineering.

List of components used in electrical engineering

 Resistor
 Multimeter
 Bread board
 Capacitor
 Dc Power supply

Resistor:

 A Resistor is a two passive two-terminal electrical

component that implements electrical resistance
as a circuit element. In electronic circuits,
resistors are used to reduce current flow, adjust
signal levels, to divide voltages, bias active
elements, and terminate transmission lines,
among other uses.
 Resistors are common elements of electrical
networks and electronic circuits. Resistors are
commonly used in our labs make a circuit. We
find its resistance by color coding method and by
using ammeter.

Capacitor:

 A capacitor is a passive two-terminal electronic

component that stores electrical energy in an electric
field. The effect of a capacitor is known as
capacitance. A conductor may be a foil, thin film,
sintered bead of metal, or an electrolyte.
 Capacitors are widely used as parts of electrical
circuits in many common electrical devices. Unlike a
resistor, an ideal capacitor does not dissipate energy.
 Capacitance is defined as the ratio of the electric
charge on each conductor to the potential difference
between them. The unit of capacitance is the
Farad(F), defined as one coulomb per volt (1 C/V).

Multimeter:
 .
 A multimeter is an electronic tool used to
measure voltage, amps and resistance across
circuits. By attaching two leads to different parts
of an electrical system, professionals can use
multimeters to detect levels of voltages and
resistance, or changes in electrical currents.
 Multimeter performs different functions some of
them are following;
 To measure current
 To calculate resistance
 To calculate voltages etc

Bread board:

 Bread board is a solderless device used to

design and test electronic circuits before
implementation.
 A bread board is used to build and test
circuits quickly before finalizing any circuit
design.

DC Power Supply:

 A power supply is an electrical device that

supplies electric power to an electric load.
 The primary function of a power supply is to
convert electric current from a source to the
correct voltage, current, and frequency to the
power load. As a result, power supplies are
sometimes referred to as electric power
converters.
 Most of the devices used in our daily life can
work with help of DC power supply. In our labs
we use Dc power supply for the circuits.

Intellectual property ;

 Intellectual property refers to creations of the

mind: inventions; literary and artistic works;
and symbols, names and images used in
commerce. Intellectual property is divided
into two categories;
 Industrial Property; It includes patents for
inventions, trademarks, industrial designs
and geographical indications.

 It covers literary works(such as novels, poems
and plays), films, music, artistic works(e.g.,
drawings, paintings, photographs and
sculptures) and architectural design.
 IP protection is intended to stimulate the
creativity of the human mind for the benefit
of all by ensuring that the advantages derived
from exploiting a creation benefit the creator.

Freedom of Speech:

 Freedom of speech is a principle that supports

the freedom of an individual or a community to
articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of
retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction. The
term "freedom of expression" is sometimes used
synonymously but includes any act of seeking,
receiving, and imparting information or ideas,
regardless of the medium used.
 'Freedom of speech is the right to seek, receive
and impart information and ideas of all kinds, by
any means.'
