Power & Strength of Parama Shiva creates big bang known as OMKAR & there begins the creation.
Later comes the era of Suras & Asuras, who fight for Amritam. Then begins the churning of the sea
“AMRITA MANTHANAM”. Through the churning, life comes out of sea including Kamdhenu. She
travels with Shiva and Vishnu through Gau Loka, which is enjoyed by all of them. This makes
Kamdhenu very much contended and she says that she will be happy to dwell in the nature to
improve agriculture, the highest wealth of this earth. Thus she becomes the commander of the
nature and called as Vishwamata the Gau Mata.

Later the life on the earth deteriorates. People on this earth suffer due to hunger and draught. The
emperor Pruthu comes to the people. Seeing the plight of suffering people, he tries to find out the
cause. He understands that the cause of suffering is due to earth. With rage he shouts that he will
finish off the earth. The mother earth appears before him and conveys that the selfishness of the
people on this earth is the root cause for draught and sufferings. She further adds that in the interest
of future human race she has absorbed nature’s energy and strength and kept within her. Later with
the help of this natural energy of the universe, she will transform herself as Gau Mata. After birth of
Gau Mata again the nature will flourish as in the past.

King Kaushika after finishing his hunting, is very much tired and hungry. Along with his thousands of
soldiers he comes to the Ashram of Brahmarishi Vashishtha. Vashishtha lovingly offers him food.
Kaushika was astonished after having sumptuous food provided by the divine cow Shabale. He felt
that this cow is very much required for the King rather than rishi Vashishtha. He demands to hand
over divine Shabale. Vashishtha refuses. King uses his might and drags the divine cow. Filled with
anger and fury, Shabale sherks and jerks her entire body. From every cell of her body there appear
strange divine creatures. With fury they attack & defeat the entire army of Kaushika. Here we can
observe nobility of divine Shabale, at the same time capacity and ability to defeat thousands of
soldiers. It is a clear indication that Gau Mata is Vishwamata.
When Krishna & Gopalakas perform Goverdhan Giri Puja & Gaupuja, Indra becomes furious and
brings heavy showers and make them miserable. Krisna’s cows and gopalkas suffer and approach
Krishna to save their life. By lifting mount Govardhana Krishna saves all.

During the reign of Raja Pareekshit cow meat eaters increase their cruelty and there has been very
much unrest in the society. Raja Pareekshit punishes them and finally converts them as Gau Palkas,
who go door to door to spread “GAU KATHA”. Later they spread the truth that Gau Mata is
“Vishwamata”

Emperor Shivaji faces the horrific war against Mughals. With his big herd of well-built and trained
bulls and cows, defeats Mughal Army which runs away for life. Emperor then declares Gau Mata is
the real Vishwamata.
