1 Check the foundation bolts are tight.(bolts and nuts are free from dust) checked

2 Check the earthing connection checked

3 Approach for site maintenance is proper . yes

4 Accessability for replacement is adequate . yes

5 Check the bearing and winding temperature . checked

6 Check the cooling fans are running smoothly. checked

7 Check the air passage of cooling fans are not abstructed. checked

8 Check the motor current at three phase balanced at satec meter and power factor maintained 0.98 checked
9 Check the LRS water level. checked

10 Check the LRS contactor hold and absorb any chattering and electrical noise kit
GENERAL INSPECTION
1 Take work permit and line clear with equipment tag number. yes
2 Stator terminal box to be opened and its end termination is checked . checked
3 Rotor connection box terminal opened and connection is inspect . checked
4 Slipring cover opened and blowering the carbon dust particles . found dust
5 Carbon brushes to be inspected . inspected,
6 Length of carbon brushes to be observed . observed,
7 Removing carbon deposit in the slipring box and its brush holder . found carbon deposited
8 Replace the brushes as per recommendation. checked
9 Checking of logic panel cooling fan overload and its contactors and terminal connections . checked ,
10 Check the LRS water level. checked

11 Open the contactor of LRS check the fixed ,moving contact and arc chamber and maintain contactor kit
Check the terminal connection after completing test the panel with control supply and observe its working
12 checked
and any abnormal electrical noise.
