GCSO LAW ENFORCEMENT SUMMARY


OCTOBER 21, 2019 – OCTOBER 27, 2019

On Monday, October 21, the GCSO transported Lonnie Charles Ash Jr. (47) and Kane
Dametri Vann (24) from the Bay County Jail to the Gulf County Detention Facility to be
booked on Gulf County warrants. Ash was wanted for Violation of Probation on the
original charge of Felony DWLS/R and Vann was wanted for Violation of Probation on the
original charge of Dealing in Stolen Property.

On Monday, October 21, the GCSO transported William Earl Skipper (29) from the
Calhoun County Jail to the Gulf County Detention Facility to be booked on a Gulf County
warrant for Violation of Probation. Skipper was on Community Control probation for
Possession of Methamphetamine and Obstructing a Criminal investigation.

On Tuesday, October 22, the GCSO transported Kelli Lynn Abbot from the Bay County Jail
to the Gulf County Detention Facility to be booked on two Gulf County warrants for Grand
Theft. The charges stem from two separate investigations by Investigator J. Murnun
where Abbott accepted deposits, totaling $20,000, on contracting jobs but performed no
work and failed to return the money to the victims.

On Wednesday, October 23, Deputy M. Manley responded to the 7000 block of CR 381 in
Dalkeith to investigate a report of a burglary. It was reported that someone had broken
into a boat shed and stole an aluminum 1989 Bass Tracker boat and motor. The theft
remains under investigation.

On Thursday, October 24, Investigators S. Ferrell and C. Harvey conducted a traffic stop
on Doc Whitfield Road near the intersection of Kim Avenue. As a result of the traffic stop
the driver, identified as Cresta Denise Morrison (42), was found to be in possession of
methamphetamine and a syringe. Morrison was placed under arrest and charged with
Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Thursday, October 24, Sgt. R. Burkett responded to Apollo Street to assist the Port St.
Joe Police Department with an unknown disturbance involving a large crowd gathering in
the street. When officers arrived and intervened, Shaquad Sintell Patterson (23), who
was involved in the disturbance, left and became involved in another disturbance on
Avenue A. Sgt. Burkett arrived to quell that disturbance and had given Patterson several
opportunities to disperse but Patterson continued to remain on scene and instigate the
disturbance. Sgt. Burkett placed Patterson under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.

On Friday, October 25, Deputy S. Alday conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of
S. Murphy and Blossom Hill Road. During a driver’s license check of the driver, who was
identified as Gregory Franklin Fletcher (57), Deputy Alday learned that Fletcher’s license
was suspended. Fletcher was placed under arrest and charged with DWLSR.

On Saturday, October 26, Deputy C. Kesterson and Deputy D. Goodman arrested Bobby
Dewayne Brake (47) on a traffic stop on Country Club Road. Brake was wanted on a
Contempt of Court and Writ of Bodily Attachment for failure to pay child support.

On Saturday, October 26, Deputy B. McCorvey conducted a traffic stop Mitchell Road near
the intersection of Old Panama Highway. The driver was identified as Paula Denise
Richter (47), who was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Richter was placed under
arrest for DWLSR. During an inventory of the vehicle, deputies found methamphetamine
that belonged to Richter. Richter was additionally charged with Possession of
Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday, October 27, Deputy K. Newell responded to a report of a dog theft that
occurred in the 7000 block of CR 381. The victim had captured video surveillance of a
vehicle that stopped in the road in front of their house. The occupants of the vehicle
coaxed their dog to come to the road, which it did. The dog was picked up, put in the
vehicle and the vehicle drove away. The victim put the video on a social media outlet and
two suspects were identifies as Seth Andrew Dykes (18) and Chrystan Paige Davidson (28).
Deputy G. Desrosier and Deputy McCorvey located Dykes, and Davidson, who were still
in possession of the dog. Davidson was placed under arrest and charged with Dealing in
Stolen Property and Dykes was arrested for and charged with Petit Theft. The dog was
returned to its owners.

On Sunday, October 27, Deputy S. Alday executed an arrest warrant on Magnolia Avenue
by arresting Joe P. Rowland (50). The warrant resulted from an incident reported to the
GCSO on August 28, 2019, that occurred on Maddox Street in Oak Grove. Rowland was
involved in a physical altercation with another subject and the investigation revealed that
he was the aggressor.
