Company History
ALUMINIOS EGA arises from the experience obtained by its founder and creator, EZEQUIEL
GONZALEZ, after working for a company in production of aluminum finished objects; based on the
experience he acquired in this establishment and observing the viability of said business in March
1995, Don Ezequiel decides to start a microenterprise from his backyard; realizing and
manufacturing products in aluminum for decoration of interior and exterior spaces, supplying the
departments of Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío and Norte del Valle.

As the microenterprise becomes recognized, it presents profitability, which is why its owner sees
the need to expand it and decides to move to a place near his home and turn it into a family
company; putting it in commerce as a sole proprietorship that works from the secondary sector as
well as a commercial office dedicated to the manufacture of aluminum products such as windows,
doors, bathroom divisions; including indoor and outdoor spaces, according to the needs of the
community and the market.

In such a way that the company continued to grow, in October 1999 Don Ezequiel and family
members decided to improve its infrastructure, both in physical spaces and in the improvement of
machinery, investing in more specialized equipment to support the production that moved there.
Incorporating new lines of woodwork, such as bathroom furniture, closet, doors etc.

Gradually it has been recognized in the market for its quality, service and compliance with its
consumers, although it does not yet have a complete management system for not having a
mission, vision and clear and proposed objectives in the company, it has had more than 22 years in
the legally constituted market; It has been located in race 25 # 20-36 / Barrio San José in the city of
Armenia Quindío, but taking into account that this location is far from commerce and the main
avenues, they have developed a planning that allows them to stay out of the marketing itself.
Taking today a main social objective: “the manufacture and realization of products in aluminum
and wood for interior and exterior spaces, annexing other services with contractors such PVC,
GRANITE, DRYWALL”, in order to provide a complete remodeling service.
Highlighting that as every business in motion manages competencies, and this one that has them
close as much as in aluminum production as in wood products, strives to maintain a good sales
condition in relation to its opponents producing strategies that at times they have been useful;
created a page on social networks and an agreement with Brilla Efigas to give its consumers an
easy, light and concrete way to continue their remodeling. In the course of his legacy he has
become known as a serious and professional company, since he has a highly qualified direct and
indirect working group; because it manages independent contractor personnel trained to do an
excellent job, delivering the final product in optimal conditions, satisfying the needs of its
customers.
