Key Aims of the Guidelines:


• To assist member Associations in Development of a GK Education

• To maintain a standard of competence among the Professional GK Coaches

• To ensure the standard is achieved to gain a UEFA GK DIPLOMA

• To help achieve credibility for the GK Coaching profession

Criteria for Course:
The course is designed for Goalkeeper Coaches working with;

– Full time Professional Goalkeepers

– Semi Professional Goalkeepers

– Top Adult Amateur Goalkeepers??

– Elite Youth (15 – 18y) Goalkeepers??

Maximum of 16 GK Coaches per Course?


Criteria for Course:
Minimum requirements for a participant

• Must possess a current standard UEFA B License


+
• Has a National Goalkeeping qualification
or
• 5 years GK playing experience at semi pro / professional level
or
• Has 3 years experience working as a Coach with Top Adult goalkeepers

• Copy of Personal Development Plan for Goalkeepers
• Copy of Research Assignment
• Copy of course resources and notes
Assessment Process
• That the participants carry out their assignments and tasks during the course based on
Article 22 of the UEFA Convention ‘Reality Based Learning’
• That an Assessment Process is established based on the current UEFA Convention
(V11. UEFA coaching diploma course assessment, Article 52 - 55)
