At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to;

 Illustrates multiplication as equal jumps in a number line


 Teach your students to use number lines as a strategy to multiply two single-digit factors.
 Know the importance of multiplication as equal jumps in a number line

B. Motivation
 The teacher ask to their students the movement of some animals like frog,
grasshopper.
C. Discussion
 The teacher discuss how a number line can be used to illustrate multiplication and
also the importance of multiplication as equal jumps in a number line.
D. Application
 (Activity) the teacher give at least two(2) activities to their students.

B. The class has been divided into four groups. Each groups go to the
board and answer the following multiplication as equal jumps in a
number line. the group that finish first will be the winner.
