CLARENCE HIGH SCHOOL

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING UP APPLICATION FORM FOR ISC - CLASS 11 - 2019

Before you register online, please read all instructions carefully and click on the “I AGREE” and
proceed.

1. This is only an application form and does not guarantee admission.


2. The School does not accept any donations either directly or indirectly.
3. Generally, only a small percent of the applicants secure admissions here. It would be helpful to
apply in other schools also.
4. Recommendation letters will NOT be entertained.
5. Enquiries over the telephone will NOT be entertained. For any enquiry, please send an email to
admissions@clarencehighschool.in
6. Please note that the ISC syllabus is followed in Clarence High School, not PUC / CBSE.
7. Students are required to attend school with utmost regularity during school term. No
allowances are made for any reasons.
8. We regret to inform that presence of a sibling in the School does not guarantee admission, due
to the large number of Applications.
9. A printout of the completed Application form should be taken, by clicking on the Link and fee
paid receipt that will be received in the registered email. The printed application form along
with the following documents should be submitted at the front gate. Latest by March 1, 2019.
The security officer will issue an acknowledgement for the application submitted.
10. Based on the marks in the Model Examination, the candidate will be called for interview and
provisional admission on April 2 & 3, 2019. The candidate should come with both parents and
all original documents. A DD for Rs. 35,000/- should be brought in the name of Clarence High
School. This is non-refundable.
11. Criteria for the candidate to be called for Provisional Admission in April 2019:
a. Science Stream: Scores in English, Science, Math and best one other Subject (not
including Scripture)
b. Commerce Stream: Scores in in English, Math, Group III Elective and best one subject
(not including Scripture)
c. Humanities Stream: 70% in English, and 60% in HCG, and best two subjects (not
including Scripture)
12. Refund of Admission Fee:
a. If, for any reason the candidate who has received provisional admission, was not able to
attend the final Board examination, the admission will be cancelled and 100% of the
Admission Fee will be refunded.
b. If the candidate was not able to pass the ICSE Board examination, the admission will be
cancelled and 75% of the admission Fee will be refunded.
c. If the candidate chooses to withdraw from the program for any other reason, before
June 1, 2019, 40% of the Admission Fee will be refunded.
13. The Confirmed admission letter will be issued a few days after the declaration of the results in
the month of May.
14. Further Admissions in May 2019: The few seats remaining vacant will be offered to those who
meet the criteria as follows after the declaration of ICSE results, the dates will be announced
later:
a. Science Stream: Scores in English, Science, Math and best one other Subject
b. Commerce Stream: Scores in English, Math, Group III Elective and best one subject
c. Humanities Stream: Scores in English, HCG, Group III Elective and best one subject.
15. Attested copies of the following documents should accompany the printed application form:
a. Photos of the Applicant and both parents
b. Address Proof
c. Birth Certificate
d. Attested Photocopy of Std. 10 Model Examination Marks Statement
e. Copy of Passport with Visa (only for those students who hold foreign citizenship)
f. Annual Income proof of both parents
16. The following original documents should be submitted at the time of confirmation of admission
in May:
a. Self-Attested Internet Statement of Marks for Class 10 [ICSE Examination 2019] with the
statement, “Downloaded from ______________ (name of website) on __________(date).
b. Official Transfer Certificate (ORIGINAL)
c. Conduct Certificate (ORIGINAL)
17. At least one parent must accompany the candidate for the interview.
18. DECLARATION:
a. We wholeheartedly agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the school, including
the DRESS CODE.
b. We affirm that we will not do anything that is prejudicial to the interest of the school.
c. We understand that my child requires sound moral and spiritual instruction, in addition
to the academic knowledge, in order to become a good and useful citizen of India and
the world.
d. We understand that in Clarence High School, such instruction is given through a study of
the Bible, and we have no objection to this.
