Charger, DC Power Solutions and Solar Power systems in India. As a part of its policy of continuous innovation,
Chloride introduces its integrated CBC series standby power system charger.
The CBC charger is an integrated system housing both charger and battery bank in a single panel for easy connection
between charger and battery bank. No extra foot-print is necessary, thus providing greater economy of space.
Encasement in the cabinet minimises dust deposition, reduces corrosion and ensures longer battery life for greater value
addition. The CBC standby power system charger offers a high degree of standardization and reliability. This charger is
designed to float and boost charge both lead acid (sealed & vented) and nickel cadmium batteries in nominal voltage of
24V & 30V. This charger has two distinct modes- constant potential mode and constant current mode. The CBC charger
does not switch to float mode from boost immediately reaching the boost voltage. When 90% of boost voltage is reached,
the timer will be switched 'ON'. Boost charger will operate till the preset time in the timer is reached to ensure that correct
Ah input is given to the discharged battery.
