STA and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) are jointly organising a
series of Roadshows for all members of STA including contractors and sub-contractors
to create awareness on anti-corruption as well as to provide information on follow up
actions on the Corporate Integrity pledge (CIP). The second part of the Roadshow will
cover recent changes to the State forestry policy, ground operations, timber legality,
trade requirements and other forestry-related matters.

The Roadshows will be held as follows:-

The objectives of these Roadshows are:-

a. To provide updates and information on the corruption, offences and penalties, and
the accountability and monitoring of the Corporate Integrity Pledge;
b. To provide updates and information on recent changes in forestry policies,
enforcements and ground operations by the State Government; and
c. To provide updates and information on timber legality, international market
requirements and timber and timber products exported by Sarawak.

Kindly confirm your attendance by completing the reply slip attached and faxing it back
to STA Secretariat on or before 14 April 2015 (Tuesday) to facilitate our arrangement
on catering and venue. We look forward to your participation in the Roadshows.
