period’s music is simpler and less
intense than those of the previous
period.

melody has a lighter texture, less
complex, homophonic, and have a
clear melody line.
Classical music is an art music
produced rooted in the traditions
of Western Culture, including both
liturgical (religious) and secular
music.

They also have changes in


economic order and social
structure. They use formality and
emphasis on order and hierarchy.
Nobility became the primary
patrons of instrumental music,
while public taste increasingly
prepared lighter, funny comic
operas.

What are their historical events?


French Revolution, Napoleonic War, American
declaration of Independence in 1776, and
American Revolution ma’am.
