Interaxle Lock Accumulator Pressure Is Low - Also Excessive
Interaxle Lock Accumulator Charge Cycling
SMCS - 3282-035-LX
Use this procedure to troubleshoot low interaxle lock accumulator pressure or use this procedure if the
following event codes are active. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Event Codes List" in this manual, for
information about other chassis event codes.

Troubleshooting Test Steps Results
1. Check for Codes
Result:A related diagnostic code is present.

A. Connect Cat® ET to the truck. Troubleshoot any related codes before
continuing with this procedure.
B. Determine how many E1258 events codes have
occurred and when the last event occurred. Result: E1258 code remains present.
Proceed to Test Step 2.
C. Check and address any related diagnostic codes.
Result: E1258 code does not return.
D. Clear the E1258 event and operate the truck in the STOP
