Vedic teachings propagated by Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781 – 1830 CE). The Sanstha’s global network
of 1,000 mandirs, 3,700 Satsant centres and 17,500 weekly satsang assemblies (children, yough and
devotees) are perennial sources of moral, social, cultural and spiritual activities. The energies of the
BAPS volunteer corps of 55,000 youths and over 900 sadhus are channeled towards a variety of
philanthropic activities.
