Q. No. 4. (a) Mr. A an advocate to the neighbour of Mr. X. In many


occasions the advocate assisted the family dispute, Mr. X
handedover a case to Mr. A to persuade it and paid
Rs. 1,000 as fees. The advocate issued a notice. Subsequently
Mr. X requested the advocate to return the brief to get it
settled through compromise. The advocate did not return the
brief on the otherhand demanded Rs. 500 as fees for the
services rendered in the family dispute. Mr. X denied the
same as he is not liable for the same and demanded
documents back. Inspite of repeated request the advocate
did not return the documents as a result Mr. X prays for
action against the advocate for professional misconduct.
