PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
THE ROLE OF TEACHERS
- act as an interesting figure in the lives of his or
her students
- possess a growth mindset in all he or she
participates in, leading by example in all ways
- work as a role model in the lives of their
students, regardless of the environment
THE ROLE OF SCHOOLS
- further implement the education of life skills
- provide alternate opportunities to showcase
understanding and mastery beyond standardized
tests
- focus the development of interpersonal skills
and the building of relationships with others
THE ROLE OF LEARNERS
- be held accountable for their personal
education experience
- remain open-minded so as not to be held back
by the inhibitions that taunt confined thought
- act as teachers to those who need additional or
less formal guidance
INFUSING IT ALL
Becoming an effective educator is impossible
without the deep understanding of all of these
concepts. It is by these notions that my
philosophy is founded. To be a strong educator is
to be strong in all of these areas, recognizing
that there is capability for growth in all
circumstances, regardless of the setting.
PROFESSIONAL GOAL
--IN TERMS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION--
It is the duty of all educators, including
myself, to make all students into the
best versions of themselves, both in
and out of the classroom.
ADAPTING TO ANY AND ALL SITUATIONS...
proves to be one of the most crucial components
of this professional mission, for it can be applied
to all ambitions I choose to tackle, regardless of
the demeanor.
From the moment students enter my classroom, they
will be challenged to be better than when they began.
From a coaching standpoint, athletes will never cease
to show the utmost effort, for the value of
determination and dedication will be instilled within
them from the beginning.
Outside of the classroom, my dedication to the
betterment of those I interact with each day will never
conclude, for, often times, students are most impacted
by the observation of actions by those who are
unaware of the eyes which observe them.
