Colonel Alan Brooke Pemberton & Diversified Corporate Services Limited (Company No. 00990443 - Incorporated 29 September 1970 Dissolved 20 April 1989) In the seventies and eighties Diversified Corporate Services Limited (DCS) was a Section within MI6 although some have described it as a front for MI6. The difference is inconsequential as DCS was part of MI6 for some of the years it traded. Some well known spooks worked for DCS and MI6 and included:- 1. Colonel Peter John Goss (Special Forces) who worked in British Intelligence in Ulster and the Cabinet Office 2. Brigadier Peter 'Scrubber' Stewart-Richardson in whose obituary it says “On leaving the Army in 1981, Stewart-Richardson set up a security company with another officer” which is not exactly true as DCS was incorporated in 1970 and was trading long before 1981 3. Major General Sir John Evelyn Anderson KBE who was inter alia commander of the Royal Signals as Signals Officer-in-Chief until his retirement in 1972 4. Bill Fairclough FCA MSI MCT, prima facie an accountant, was recruited by MI6 in the early seventies and worked with Alan Brooke Pemberton until the mid-eighties; Alan Pemberton was also involved in the creation of FaireSansDire in 1978, a niche UK intelligence outfit ultimately controlled by Bill Fairclough 5. John Richard Pilkington and Roy Astley Richards OBE (Winston Churchill’s bodyguard) who in retirement both admitted they worked for the SIS and were directors of DCS
