we can say that it started on 28 December 1895 with the first commercial of Lumiere
Brothers. In this time, all the filmographies were in black and white, under a minute long,
without recorded sound and consisted of a single shot from a steady camera. But nowadays,
technology advances, and now we have a lot of good visual effects, better actors and greats
soundtracks. So a passionate director puts a lot of effort and time to take us through a
journey consisting of beautifully written characters, unpredictable plot and challenging
themes. Even though over time many movies were created, there are some movies that are
more popular than others; this has to do with the perception of each person and their way
of seeing things. Good movies are so popular all over the world because they have good
stories to tell us, awesome audiovisual effects, and one of the greatest entertainments
among young people and adults.
A great movie experience will be with you for years and they will be part of your memories
forever. Movies will always be part of your heart. In my opinion we love movies because
when we see it, they make us feel a lot of feelings and emotions. Whether love movies,
horror or action; each movie has something to tell us, something like a moral. In addition, a
good movie could inspire you to do better actions or change your lifestyle, because we
always keep with us something of the movie and we try to put it into practice and try our
best. Although not all movies provide you information, many of them are helpful to fill your
mind with wisdom and knowledge, they can put you in situations to make you feel emotions
and change the way you think about everything. Movies based on real stories are a good
option because it can teach you a lot of every other thing around you. One of the most
popular movie is The Notebook from the writer Nicholas Sparks, so why this movie is so
popular? Because this movie has the power to connect us with the characters, enjoy the
love on the story, and they allow us to feel how much it hurts to have your heart broken.
And this experience will always be with us. For all of that, movies can give us good
experiences while we see it, experiences that will always stay in our hearts and minds.
Seeing visuals effects, sound and performing on a movie. That’s what art means to me. A
film is a mix of many art forms and visual effects give us a possibility of imagine and
experiment new sensations never knew before. In the past there are not visual effects, just
only basic things, nothing impresionnant, but the people was accustomed to this. However,
with the arrival of technology, everything changed, things did not become as before.
Further, we must to consider that the work of the director of the movie is so incredible,
because create something that only our imagination is capable, is merely impresionnant.
Each person imagines a situation, but try to rebuilt in an entertaining and interactive way
using visual effects it is a great work to admire, and not only this, the soundtrack and
performing is an essential part on the movie, it makes the movie more extraordinary. The
last year was released a movie called Ready Player One from the director Steven Spielberg,
this movie has incredible and amazing visual effects, the perfect soundtrack and an
interesting story. The same with the movie La La Land, in my perspective this movie is
hypnotic, simply art. The Oscars are awards for artistic and technical merit in the film
industry, the most famous and with good qualification movies take part in. A good movie
with excellent visual effects and soundtrack will make you immerse into a virtual reality full
of art
Movies are entertainment, a way to escape from the reality and sometimes we need to
escape from it, we need more than our eyes can see, we need another world. Sometimes
we want to run away from the stress, pain or depression that we had to deal with out there,
we want to create a new reality. There are always days in where we are tired about
everything around us, but when we look for a good movie, tiredness leaves our bodies and
forget all the problems. Moreover, more than watch a movie, you can live it, you can travel
through time, history and different realities. Also, the entertainment industry has been
increasing during the last year, in Japan this industry has been consolidating more and more,
and every time many people want to break the routine with stunning films. For this reason,
this entertainment is more popular every time, and the Oscar’s Gifts too. I believe that
movies allow us social interaction by providing opportunity to discuss common topics of
interest. This entertainment was created for the purpose of distracting you from your
current problems, gives you a unique experience with your friends or family, move us a little
away from our world. As more as technology advances, the more movies will be created,
and we will can enjoy new experiences, discover new worlds and challenge our perception.
In conclusion, the reason of why movies are so popular all over the world is because some
movies give you the chance of knowing new virtual realities, experiment different
sensations, knowing new stories that transmit a moral, but above all gives you the
opportunity of sharing and enjoying moments with your family and friends. Most movies
that become successful tell a story. And for this reason people love watching movies,
fundamentally, is because human beings love telling stories; stories affirm who we are. Thus,
we are designed for stories and stories are designed for us. With the advancement of
technology, in the coming years more and more movies will be released and we will have
the opportunity to enjoy it. The visual effects will be much better than now, there will be
new stories to tell, better actors, better soundtrack and more moments to share. The world
of cinema will never end we will be witnesses of that.
