Loreal plans to launch a initiative “Green worth” to reduce the amount of plastic produced and used

during the phases of its product Life Cycle

Green Worth

 Loreal will be launching a cyclic platform where it will reduce the plastic in the loreal
products by redesigning the containers of the some of the Loreal products included within
the range of Loreal Paris, Garnier and Loreal Professionals
 The packaging of the products included in the “Green Worth” will be changed with that of
classy steel and glass containers which will have a high life cycle and lasting capacity of up to
5 years. This classy green bottles will be refilled with Loreal products each time after their
use to ensure the reduce of plastic and the reuse of our Bottles.
 We at Loreal will be partnering with various logistics company to provide the range of Loreal
Products in the “green worth “ to customers at their doorsteps and will take the bottles to
be refilled once the customer makes the request for it.
 The request for the “Green Worth” product range could be made just with few easy clicks on
the “Loreal Green Worth” online platform.
 Customer is required to make a bundles purchase which will involve 2 containers each of
any of the “Green Worth Range”.
 Once one of the containers has its content all consumed, the green container can be sent for
refill while the customer still has another container filled for his use.
 To promote the sales among customers the “Green initiators” of this change will be getting
initial discounts offer of up to 20 % on their first purchase and will be getting a “green
Challenger” goodie while every 5th refill the customer makes. The price and value of the
goodie worth Rs500 will keep on increasing as per the amount of refills made. But the
Customer should initially pay a cost of Rs300 extra for the 2 containers as the initial
investors. Also our “green challengers “ will be having their snaps and pictures displayed on
the loreal green page with their goodies.
 Each container received from the customer will then be taken back to Loreal refilling stations
where the containers will be cleaned and refilled.
 With a time of 5 years we aim to include more of loreal ranges as Professionals and Garnier
to the “Green Worth “ chain and also improve on logistics to cater to more markets with
more refilling stations.
