Summary of Highlights

2019 -20 Certified 3% plus vertical and horizontal step (drop step 1)

2019- 20 ESPs 4% plus step plus significant improvements on schedules,

starting salaries increased to at least $15.07 for all titles.

2020-21 Certified 2.75% plus vertical and horizontal step (drop step 2) add
step to bottom of schedule giving those without a step 3% total
increase.

2020-21 ESPs 4% plus step

The following TA’s are language clean ups due to changes in procedures and moving
online notifications systems: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 17, the last section of TA 28.

TA 8, 9 and 19 will be beneficial for recruiting teachers. These TA’s allow us to

increase the time window for hiring by posting concurrently with voluntary
transfer, allowing more credit for experience from other districts on the salary
schedule and promoting the “Grow Your Own” campaign.

TA 16, 25, 26, 32 are stipends for National Board Certified Teachers, Nurses, Psychs
and Social workers.

TA 31 is an increase in the department chair stipend and clarification of the roll of

department chair.

TA 22, 23, 24, 29, 30 are committees that will deal with structural and institutional
challenges, priotization of professional development, insurance, and recruitment of
psychologists, nurses, and additional staff as well as defining the caseload of
psychologists and ILT monitoring.

TA 12 – Clarifies and increases the number of hours that will be approved for
incremental credit in a fiscal year.

TA 13 and 20 provide for more teacher autonomy in elementary and more prep
time.

TA 14 – Class Size Reduction

TA 15 – Pest Control Management

TA 18 - More timely access to student rosters

TA 21 – Collaboration between administration and department chairs to create
teacher schedules in middle and high AND notification of teaching assignment and
call for volunteers in elementary BEFORE voluntary transfer process begins.

TA 27 – Employee Assistance Program

TA 28 – Clarification of Battery and Aggravated Assault, absences due to such and

discipline of student involved
