Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - The suit of Yustina Supatmi, a parent of a student who sued a teacher because
of his disappointment that his child did not go up to the Gonzaga College High School, West Pejaten,
South Jakarta, will be held this morning, Monday (4/11) at the South Jakarta District Court.

South Jakarta District Public Relations PR Achmad Guntur said the trial agenda with case number 833 /
Pdt.G / 2019 / PNJKT.SEL was calling the defendant to attend the hearing.

"At 10:00 WIB. The event was still calling the [defendant] party because there was a previous session
that was not present," Achmad said via text message to CNNIndonesia.com, Sunday (11/3).

Previously, the first trial was held last Monday (10/28). But the trial was adjourned because the
defendant was absent.

Yustina sued Gonzaga College High School Principal Paulus Andri Astanto, Vice Principal for Curriculum
Field Himawan Santanu, Deputy Principal for Student Affairs Gerardus Hadian Panamokta, and Class XI
Sociology teacher Agus Dewa Irianto.

Besides that, Yustina also sued the Head of DKI Jakarta Provincial Secondary and Higher Education
Service.

In her lawsuit, Yustina asked the panel of judges to state that the defendants' decision that the plaintiff's
child with the initials BB had no right to continue the process of studying to the 12th grade of Gonzaga
College High School was legally flawed.
Yustina asked the panel of judges to declare that BB had met the requirements and had the right to
continue the study process to the 12th grade of Gonzaga College High School.

In addition, Yustina also asked the panel of judges to punish the defendants to pay compensation jointly
to him. The compensation includes material Rp.51,683,000 and immaterial Rp.500 million.

Related to this case, DKI Jakarta Education Agency claimed to have tried to mediate Yustina with Gonzaga
High School. However, the mediation effort was rejected by the school who chose to mediate instead in
court.

Head of the Student Section and Character Development of DKI Jakarta Disdik Participants, Taga Radja
Gah explained the Gonzaga High School's excuse behind the refusal of mediation at the DKI Education
Agency office because the school was afraid the lawsuit would still be filed despite mediation.
