How to grow in a food industry

INTRODUCTION

Foods processing includes the methods and techniques used to transform raw ingredients into

food for human consumption. Food processing takes clean, harvested or slaughtered and

butchered components and uses them to produce marketable food products. The constant and

uninterrupted flow of product from distribution centers to store locations is a critical link in

food industry operations.

Food nutrition, has been the most authoritative source on food nutrition, it immediately

became recognized as the most authoritative and influential report in its field and helped to

highlight the importance of research in this crucial area. It became the standard text worldwide

for policy-makers in government at all levels, for civil society and health professional

organizations, and in teaching and research centres of academic excellence. (WCRF, 2001).

New methods of analyzing and assessing evidence have been developed, facilitated by

advances in electronic technology. There is more evidence, in particular on overweight and

obesity and on physical activity; food nutrition, physical activity. (AICR, 2007)
Agriculture is the process of producing food, feeding products, fiber and other desired products

by the cultivation of certain plants and the raising of domesticated animals. The practice of

agriculture is also known as farming. Scientist, inventors, and others devoted to improving

farming methods to produce foods. (Hyman, 2006).

Work in the food industry traditionally involves gendered divisions of labor. Perceived and

actual physical strength, and the ability to use technology define the boundaries between the

work of men and women. The food industry as a complex whole requires an incredibly wide

range of skills. Several hundred occupation types exist within the food industry. (Zinkhan,

2006).
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study aims on how to grow in a food industry.

Specifically, it answer the following question:

1. How to achieve growth in a food industry?

1.1 ways

1.2 process

2. How can they managed in a food industry


Hypothesis of the Problem

Ho1: There are ways to grow their food industry.

Ho2: They have process on how to make it possible

Ho3: They should know how to managed a food industry.


Methodology

Research Design

This action research utilized a qualitative method of research on how to grow a food industry.

Research Respondents

The respondents of this study includes 15 mentors from Barangay Sawang Callero, Cebu City, in

the food industry to help us know more about growing a food industry.

Research Environment

This study was conducted in Barangay Sawang Callero, Cebu City. It is between Barangay Pasil,

Cebu City, and Barangay Duljo Fatima, Cebu City. This was chosen by the researchers to be the

focal venue of the study since the researcher is a resident of that said Barangay who is a good

representative for surveying about this topic.

Research Instrument

This instrument used in this study is surveying questionnaire prepared by the researcher, the

researcher use close ended questions, the respondents are to classify the ways on how to grow

in a food industry.
Administration of Test Instruments

The researcher submitted a formal letter to request to the Barangay Captain`s Office for a

permission to conduct a survey of the research tool. After the permission was approved, the

researcher personally conducted the survey to the grow in a food industry in the researchers

Barangay.

Data Gathering Procedure

Before letting the respondents answer the questionnaire, the researcher must finalized her

questionnaire and ask approval and if the respondents agree, it is the time that the researcher

present her questionnaire and when she`s done answering the questionnaire the researcher

must thank her or the respondents and finalized the answers.

Validation of Research Instruments

All the subjects completed the questionnaire in the presence of the researcher. This was done

to prevent subjects from giving questionnaire to the other people to complete to their behalf.

For validation, the questionnaire is from the cardri.com:cardribdsfi.pdf. Which is related to this

study.
Statistical Treatment of Data

Formula used for the gathered data:

Results and Discussion

This chapter presents the results of the survey.

The table 1 shows that are many respondents wants the way to achieve growth in a food

industry. The result say that 90% are in favored in the ways and 10% are in favored in the

process. The result of the study mean show that the respondents are in favored in the ways.

They had their own ways to convince their customer.

The table 2 show that many respondents agree to managed a food industry. The result say that

100% are in favored in managed . the result of the study mean show that the respondents are

totally in favored in managed in the food industry.


Summary of Findings

1. The result say that 90% are in favored in the way and 10% are in favored in process. The

result of the study mean show that the respondents are in favored in the way. They had

their ways on how to convince their customer.

2. The result say that 100% are totally n favored in managed. The result of the study means

show that the respondents are in favored in a managed way of growth in a food

industry.
Conclusion

The researcher came up to reject the (H2,H3). Based on the findings of the study. The study

shows very interesting result and thus it concluded that consumer gain in a food industry,

sometimes considering the findings the researcher come up to this conclusion since entertain

the consumer well. The consumers have in favored totally to the managed in a food industry.
Recommendations

Based on the researchers findings and conclusion, the following recommendations are

propound. The consumer know how the growth in a food industry they know their ways and

processes of every consumer, because some of the consumer failed the growth. The researcher

recommends future researcher to have a deeper understanding on growth in a food industry .
