Learning Area: Organization and Management

I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
1. Differentiate the various forms of business organization.
2. Give an example of each form of business organization.
3. Decide the best form of business organization that the
student wanted to have in the future.

II. Subject Matter:

A. Topic: Forms of business organization.

D. Time Allotment: 1 hour
E. Instructional Materials : Laptop, LCD projector, chalk, blackboard,
cartolina; and pentel pen.

III. Procedure:

Teaching Strategy: 4A’s

a. Activity
Instruction: 10 mins.
1. Share to the class about the story of Mr. Go, a
businessman who started his small business alone but his
business is getting bigger so he wanted to have somebody
from family and friends to joined him . Later, the business is
very progressive and Mr. Go wanted and expansion in
many places of the country.

b. Analysis
Guide questions from the activity (20mins)
1. What can you say about Mr. Go?
2. What is the form of business organization has first, when
he was started alone, second, when his relatives and
friends joined him and finally, when many investors
invested in his business?
3. How do we differentiate the forms of business organization
that Mr. Go has created fro the time he started and when
his business becomes a multi-company?

c. Abstraction
Ask students the following questions:
1. What have you understand about sole proprietor,
partnership and corporation?
2. Why it is important to understand the different forms of
business organization?
 3. What do you think is the best form of business
organization?

d. Application (10 minutes)

1. Group student into three groups. Let them pick one of
the forms of the business organization?
2. Ask each group an example of the business form that
they have picked

IV. Remarks:
Based on the understanding that they have shared to the
class, I believed that they have learned very well how to
differentiate the business forms and can also sight and
example of each of the form.

Compute the following problems involving cash and installment basis

commission.
3. B2 is a sales representative. He is given an 8%
commission on his sales in cash basis. If he sold a total of
P128, 000.00 for the month of July, find his gross earnings
for the month.
4. Assuming a sale of P 120, 000.00 paid in monthly
installment of P10,000.00, the commission is based on the
P10,000.00 payment made by the buyer. Therefore if the
commission paid is 3%, what would be the monthly
commission?
