Description
This measurement entity measures the ratio of successful initial registrations to initial
registration requests of VoLTE subscribers on an IMS network in a measurement period.
By analyzing the value of this measurement entity, you can obtain the information about
VoLTE initial registrations.
When the S-CSCF receives a REGISTER message from the I-CSCF and the subscriber data
is not stored in the S-CSCF, the S-CSCF determines that this is an initial registration. If the
S-CSCF responds a 200 message to an initial registration request, the initial registration is
successful. The re-registration success rate is excluded from this measurement entity.
In overlay networking, this measurement entity measures the initial registration success rate
for all subscribers. The initial registration success rate for VoLTE subscribers cannot be
measured separately.

Description
This measurement entity counts the number of SIP response codes for each SCU module
generated or transited by the originating S-CSCF in a measurement period. The SIP
response codes range from 300 to 699, including 603 and 486.
Application Scenario
Create a measurement task with this measurement entity when you need to obtain the
number of times the originating S-CSCF generates or transmits an Oxx response code.
335675320 300 Multiple Choices The address in the request resolved to several choices,
each with its own specific location, and the user (or
UA) can select a preferred communication end point
and redirect its request to that location. This status
response is appropriate if the callee can be reached at
several different locations and the server cannot or
prefers not to proxy the request.
335675321 301 Moved This response can be used to send the new address to
Permanently the requester when the user cannot be found by using
the address specified in the Request-URI. The new
address is provided in the Contact header. The
requester uses the new address to send requests and
updates the local directory, address book, and user
address cache. Moreover, subsequent requests are
sent to the new address.
335675323 305 Use Proxy 305 (Use Proxy) responses MUST only be generated
by UASs. The requested resource MUST be accessed
through the proxy given by the Contact field. The
Contact field gives the URI of the proxy. The
recipient is expected to repeat this single request via
the proxy.
335675324 380 Alternative When the call is not successful, but alternative
Service services are possible, the response can be sent to the
caller. The alternative services are described in the
message body of the response.
335675325 Other 3xx response These response codes are sent in redirection scenarios

response codes
Table 1 Information about response codes and application scenario analysis
335675326 400 Bad Request When the request could not be understood due to
malformed syntax, the response is used to reject the
request from the caller. The Reason-Phrase SHOULD
identify the syntax problem in more detail, for
example, "Missing Call-ID header field".
335675329 403 Forbidden The server understands the request but refuses to
fulfill it. The server sends the 403 response to
requests such as undefined user initiated register
requests, undefined user initiated de-registration
requests, and user authentication failure or requests
from an untrusted domain.
335675330 404 Not Found The server has definitive information that the user
does not exist at the domain specified in the Request-
URI. This status is also returned if the domain in the
Request-URI does not match any of the domains
handled by the recipient of the request.
335675332 406 Not Acceptable The resource identified by the request is only capable
of generating response entities that have content
characteristics not acceptable according to the Accept
header field sent in the request.
335675334 408 Request Timeout The server could not produce a response within a
suitable amount of time.
335675336 412 Precondition If there is no matching event state at the ESC, for
Failed example, the event state to be modified has already
expired, the EPA receives a 412 response to the
PUBLISH request.

335675339 415 Unsupported The server is refusing to service the request because
Media Type the message body of the request is in a format not
supported by the server for the requested method. The
server MUST return a list of acceptable formats using
the Accept, Accept-Encoding, or Accept-Language
header field, depending on the specific problem with
the content.
335675340 416 Unsupported URI The server cannot process the request because the
Scheme scheme of the URI in the Request-URI is unknown to
the server.
335675341 420 Bad Extension The server did not understand the protocol extension
specified in a Proxy-Require or Require header field.
335675342 421 Extension The UAS needs a particular extension to process the
Required request, but this extension is not listed in a Supported
header field in the request. Responses with this status
code MUST contain a Require header field listing the
required extensions.
335675343 422 Session Expires The server performs a SessionTimer check for the
Too Small message. If the UAC supports SessionTimer but the
Session Expires parameter in the message is smaller
than the value configured on the local server, the
server returns a 422 response.
335675344 423 Interval Too The server is rejecting the request because the
Brief expiration time of the resource refreshed by the
request is too short.
335675345 429 Provide Referrer if the refer target requires a valid Referred-By token
Identity to accept the request. This can occur when either no
token is provided or a provided token is invalid.

335675350 483 Too Many Hops The server received a request that contains a Max-
Forwards header field with the value zero.
335675351 484 Address The server received a request with a Request-URI that
Incomplete was incomplete.
335675353 486 Busy Here The callee's end system was contacted successfully,
but the callee is currently not willing or able to take
additional calls at this end system. The user could
also be available elsewhere, such as through a voice
mail service.
335675355 488 Not Acceptable The media resource carried in the request is
Here unacceptable. The reasons may be the following:
The caller carries an unsubscribed media resource.
The local policy does not allow the media
resource.
335675356 489 Bad Event Checking the Event header in the subscription
message fails. The reasons may be the following: The
Subscribe and Notify requests must carry the Event
header. The server returns a 489 response if the
header is not available or the Event header is not the
supported type.
335675357 491 Request Pending The request was received by a UAS that had a

Call sessions to be handed over to a 2G network.
Application Scenario
When you need to obtain the number of eSRVCC handover requests for Alerting-Call
sessions in the following scenarios, you can create a measurement task with this
measurement entity:
A subscriber, who is on an Alerting-Call on an LTE network, roams to a 2G network.
The SRVCC IWF initiates an initial session transfer (IST) procedure to the IMS to hand
over the Alerting-Call.
A subscriber, who is on an active or held call as well as an Alerting-Call on an LTE
network, roams to a 2G network. After handing over the active or held call of the
subscriber, the SRVCC IWF initiates an IST procedure to the IMS to hand over the
Alerting-Call.

Description
This measurement entity counts the number of enhanced single radio voice call continuity
(eSRVCC) handovers to a target base station controller (BSC) during which radio
handovers are successful and initial session transfer (IST) flows are complete. This
measurement entity applies to the handover of a call in either Active state or Mid-call state
only.
NOTE:
When bit 1 of P1053 is set to 0, the SRVCC IWF uses this entity to collect statistics about eSRVCC
handovers during alerting call sessions. Bit 3 of P1053 determines when the SRVCC IWF starts the
measurement.
When bit 6 of P1053 is set to 0, the SRVCC IWF uses this entity to collect statistics about eSRVCC
handovers during call sessions that are in the originating pre-alerting state.
