COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of this course are to
1. Apply the concepts of diode in rectifiers and Zener diode.
2. Understand the characteristics and applications of transistor.
3. Design of inverting and non-inverting amplifier circuits, zener diode regulator circuits.
4. Compile the different building blocks in digital electronics using logic gates and implement simple
logic functions using basic and universal gates.
5. Understand the block diagram of CRO and its applications.
COURSE OUTCOMES:
4. Compare and analyze transistor configuration, rectifiers, oscillators and amplifiers. (L4)
5. Design zener regulator, biasing circuits and capacitor filter circuits. (L6)
PREREQUISITES:
Learners should have the knowledge of Physics
