Stressors are stimulus, events or experience that cause stress and make me have stress
response. Different kind of major life events and daily hassles have brought me
different levels of stress and feelings, and I feel pressure when I cannot face and cope
The most common source of stress is social, learning or family. In terms of learning,
because of the lack of time, continuous assignments and exams have placed a heavy
burden on me. In the family, parents' expectations of me and family disputes are sources
of stress. Socially, peer pressure and interpersonal relationships are also sources of
thoughts, emotions and feelings also determine whether one thing will constitute
pressure.
Appropriate pressure can help me improve the effectiveness of our work, promote
example, sometimes the pressure caused by time constraints can improve my ability to
work and handle things more efficiently. However, excessive stress will cause me to
have negative stress responses and have some symptoms in physical, behavioral and
emotional aspects. In physical aspect, I have had problems with headaches and
remember things. On the behavioral side, disrupted sleeping habits and disrupted eating
habits are the common problems in my life. Chronic stress also causes me to fear or
various subjects, the group reports also need to be completed. Due to the similar dates
for submitting assignments and reports, I need to complete all the tasks in a short period
of time, and I need to take time to do revision for mid-term test. Besides, I still need to
take the time to prepare for the entrance interview, which greatly increased my
workload and increased my burden. Although I can't control what happens in my life, I
will find some ways to relieve my pressure. I will conduct time management; the proper
arrangement of time can help me deal with work and face stress. Besides, I will first
list the things that need to be dealt with, then set priorities, and try to deal with the most
urgent thing first. I will also have a proper rest, because sufficient sleep can improve
leisure life for myself, and engage in relaxing activities such as yoga. Yoga is a great
relaxation exercise that help my body relax and reach peace of mind, as well as away
from hustle and bustle. I will also try to imagine that I am in nature through visualization
and feel what nature brings to me and relax the body tension caused by stress.
