1. Assume they have the BEST INTEREST in
mind. We do not know what’s in their heart,
so let’s assume they do have our best
interest in mind.

2. Smile and say thank you. Though it is

hard do, it requires HUMILITY and
OBEDIENCE on our part.

3. Divide what was said into two groups: the

things which are TRUE and USEFUL, and the
things which are NOT TRUE AND USEFUL.
Of what has been said, immediately take to
heart those that are TRUE and USEFUL.
Dismiss the other things said that are NOT.
