unit on the story Seventh
Grade. During this unit we wil
be reading, writing, doing a
vocabulary study, and various
activities to become better
reflective readers and writers.
All work wil be done in class.

October: A Month In Review
October was a very exciting month. We
accomplished a lot of things, including
finishing a five paragraph Argumentative
Essay! Along with the essay, we finished
up quarter one with a performance
assessment. As we moved into quarter
two, seventh and eighth grade began a
Descriptive Writing Unit. In this unit
students learned new vocabulary words,
the importance of descriptive writing, how
to be a descriptive writer, reviewed parts
of speech, and completed the unit with a
digital project. The students had fun
writing a descriptive advertisement to sell
a Haunted House, just in time for
Halloween!

Essays will be graded by the end of this week. The gradebook will be
updated Friday. Missing assignment emails will be sent out Tuesday. Please
