ADMINISTRATION OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST FOR TEACHER APPLICANTS


(ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SY 2018·2019)

1. This is to inform the field that the Administration of English Proficiency Test (EPT) for Teacher
Applicants in the Elementary and Junior High School levels is on April 7, 2018 (Saturday),
7:00am at Bajet Castillo High School, Longos, Pulilan, Bulacan.
2. The time, room assignment, list of examinees and names of room examiners are indicated in
Enclosure No. 1, while the work committee is found in Enclosure No. 2 of this Memorandum.
Deadline of submission of the list of teacher applicants is on April 3, 2018, for elementary level
c/o Ms. Shane-Anne Sarmiento and for secondary level c/o Ms. Marilene Ramos.
3. The School Head of the testing center including the work committees should provide separate
rooms for the walk-in examinees.
4. The EPT/CPT (English Proficiency TesUCommunication Proficiency Test) takers should bring
valid identification card (e.g. PRC ID), pencil Mongol No. 1 & 2 with eraser/sharpener, packed
snacks/lunch and must be at the testing center one hour before the scheduled time of test
administration.
5. All concerned are required to strictly follow the schedule. District Supervisors and Secondary
School Heads are requested to inform the applicants in their respective districts as to their
schedule whether morning or afternoon session.
6. Room Examiners are expected to be at the testing center by 6:45am on April 7, 2018 for the
briefing which shall be conducted by the Bureau of Educational Assessment (formerly NETRC)
representative, Ms. Kim Cervantes.
7. To ensure quality and efficient EPT administration, there will be an orientation on April 6, 2018
(Friday), 1PM-5PM at Bajet Castillo High School Conference Hall. Participants to this orientation
are the DTC, EPT Personnel, Room Examiners/Supervisors and Technical/Support Staff.
8. All expenses incidental to the conduct of this EPT orientation/administration including foods,
handouts, traveling expenses of BEA Representative, certificates, and documentation will be
charged against the Division MOOE subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.
9. Cooperation of everyone is enjoined to ensure reliable and orderly administration of the EPT.
10. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
