SUMMARY OF RESILIENCE THEORY

Definition of National Resilience

National resilience is a condition as well as national development in achieving the


goals and ideals of the nation.

The Purpose of National Resilience

As a condition, the purpose of national resilience is a dynamic nation state that


contains resilience and tenacity and the ability of the nation to develop national
strength, face all kinds of threats, challenges, obstacles, and disturbances from inside
and outside the state.

National Resilience Principles

The principles of national resilience consist of:

a) Principles of Welfare and Safety, in Life nation and state, this welfare and security
elements are usually the benchmarks for National Security Resilience

b) The principle of integrated completeness, which means that national resilience


covers all aspects of life.

c) The principle of self-awareness into and exit. In this case the purpose is
introspective foster the nature and conditions of national lifebased on values for the
nation independence.

d) The principle of kinship, In daily life, this familial principle still recognizes the
difference, but the values of harmony is preferred.
Nature of National Resilience

Some properties of National Resilience can be explained, as follows:

a) Independent, This nature is a prerequisite to establish a cooperation based on the


nature of independence.

b) Dynamic, meaning not fixed, up and down, This dynamic is always oriented
toward the future and directed to better conditions.

c) Authority, meaning the continuous and sustained development of the National


Security,

d) Consultation and Cooperation, meaning mutual respect by relying on the moral


strength and personality of the nation.

Principles of National Resilience

The principle of Indonesian Resilience is obedient based on the values of the


Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and the Archipelago's Insight, which consists of:
Principle of Welfare and Safety, Comprehensive Integral or Comprehensive
Principle, Mawas Inward and Mawas Outward Principle and The principle of kinship.

To realize the success of national security, awareness of every Indonesian citizen is


needed, namely:

· Having the spirit of the nation's struggle in the form of non-physical struggle in
the form of tenacity and resilience that knows no surrender.

· Be aware of and care about the effects that arise on aspects of ideology, politics,
economics, social culture and defense and security,

The Conditions to make a Successful National Resilience

To make a Successful National Resilience , every Indonesian citizen is have to :

 Having the spirit of the nation's struggle in the form of non-physical struggle
in the form of tenacity and resilience
 Aware and care for the influences that arise in aspects of ideology, politics,
economics, social culture and defense and security
