I was assigned with the work in HR Operation. During the internship I was
assigned with two projects “Update of Employees Records in
ERP”(Enterprise Resource planning) and “Documentation and Employees
personal File Management”.

Details of works Assigned

My Summer Internship was started from 1st May 2019 to 30th June 2019
in Tenon Group. In my two month Internship, Title of project was
"Automation of HR processes” where I was assigned with the following
work

1. work on ERP software: -

ERP stand for (Enterprise Resources Planning) which include “Update of


Employees Records in ERP”(Enterprise Resource planning),
“Documentation” and “Employees personal File Management”.
2. Addition of information: -
Due to lack of proper information in portal was not able to get the
information by itself, so I updated the whole information which include
their qualification and work experience identification of employees.
3. Issuing of employee I-cards: -
Help my manager in issuing employee I cards for the entire one who had
recently joined the organization.
4. Formation of manual presentation: -
Formed a manual presentation for the ERP software and Ramco mobile hub
software which includes all the brief information a employee will be
needing to work on that software.
5. Maintaince of employee documents:-
Maintained all the employee’s physical and soft copies of employee’s
documents in an appropriate manner.
Automation of HR processes

HR automation has been evolved to ease the strain on HR departments and

Promotions/Transfers/Contract Type Change
When an employee is promoted or transferred or when contract type of
employee changes, his/her salary would also change. System enables
capturing of salary revision information while capturing information
about promotions, transfers or contract type change.

Salary Revision
System enables capturing revision which would not be as a result of
promotions, transfers etc. But which could be based on management
decision to change the salary

Attendance
System enables capturing attendance information for all the employees.
The payments for all variable earnings/deduction are done as per the
number of days the employee is present. Payments for all fixed
earnings/deductions are done for the complete payroll period in spite of
any number of days of absenteeism. System also facilitates generating
attendance records automatically for monthly paid employees where
only the required details can be changed.
Overtime

System enables capturing of overtime information for the employees.


System facilitates overtime payment in the current processing period or
in the next processing period based on company policy for overtime
payment. System facilitates user-defined overtime rates specifying
minimum hours criteria & maximum hours in a month ceiling.

Leave Salary Payment


System enables payment of leave salary based on leave period approved
by management. System also caters to adjustment of leave salary in case
of leave cancellation or prior/later resumption then the date of
expectation of resumption.
Update of employees profile in ERP

The employee profiles page is the heart of the employee database and
an important part of your HRM operation.
This section holds all the basic information about the employee Like
Employee ERP code , Employee Name, Employee photo, Employee
Birth of Birth, Employee Date of Joining, Date of Confirmation,
Country , State, Age , Year of Service, Hire date, Gender, Marital Status,
Nationality, Ethnicity, Citizenship, and Religion.
Demographic Information: Together with the Employee complete call
