Abstract- this report describes the project
experience of Home Automation System.
Eventually, the project itself focused on
implementing Home Automation System using
8051 Microcontroller. It consists of 8051
Microcontroller (AT89c51), Relays, and HC-05
Bluetooth Module. The project is the
application used to control the Home
Appliances with cell phone.
Keywords- 8051 Microcontroller, Relays, HC-
05 Bluetooth Module.
The whole system starts with pairing our
smartphone to the Bluetooth module in the circuit.
This sets us up for controlling the devices
connected to the system. Then from there we send
a command to for e.g. turn on the light. The
Bluetooth module then sends this command to the
microcontroller, which in turn generates a signal
to turn on the light only. Similarly, we can turn on
the fan or the TV connected to it. Likewise, we can
turn off the said components with the mechanism
again. Thus called Bluetooth home automation
system.
