General Instructions:
Guidelines along with rules and regulations for Athletics.

 One player can participate in 2 events only excluding relay.

 Only one Student can participate in each event.
 Students are requested to come in proper sports uniform.

1. Each school will submit event-wise list of participating Athletics (detailed entry) so as to
reach the CBSE Sahodaya Athletic meet Organizing School on or before___7th____ July ,
2018.
2. Postal delays will not be considered as an excuse for accepting late entries. The detailed
(Separate entry for each category boys and girls) entry list must be signed by the principal of
the school concerned with seal.
3. Oral communication is not entertained.
4. On the spot entry / changes will not be permitted.
5. In a particular event, if the number of athletes is less than four; but they are from different
institutions, it may be conducted. The winners may be awarded the medals and the merit
certificate.
6. In case of Relays, only four members of the team (if five names are given before the meet in
the eligibility performa and all five have attended the meet) only those who runs the finals,
shall be awarded the medals and certificates.
7. In Relays, only a single school team per category will be allowed to participate.
8. The overall championship separately in boys and girls sections in all the age groups may be
decided. The points shall be awarded according to the following systems.

 9. The merit certificates shall be awarded only upto 3rd position.
10. A separate prize may be given to the individual champion in Boys and Girls section, in all the
age categories.
11. A Cup may be given to the school scoring total maximum points (total points in all the age
groups in Boys’ & Girls’ categories and may be declared as over – all Champion.
12. Every school will be entitled to enter only ONE competitor in each event except in relay
event, where a team having maximum FIVE can be entered.
13. Lady PET or Lady staff must escort the girls athletes.
14. In case of clash or doubt results declared an appeal could be made in writing within 30
minutes after the results declared with a fees of rupees 500 in cash.
15. A participant can take part in only one division for which he or she is eligible.

Eligibility Performa:
1. The principal of the participating schools should sign the eligibility Performa
2. The form should not bear unauthorized over writings, as the organizing school would
not consider it.
3. An incomplete form in any respect will not be entertained.
Any violation of eligibility (over age or impersonation) shall be dealt with according to the rules.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. The athlete should be within the particular age group as per the list below:

Under 10 Years Boys / Girls : Born on or after 01.01.2009
Under 12 Years Boys / Girls : Born on or after 01.01.2007
2. Only bonafide students will be eligible to participate in the CBSE Sahodaya inter school
athletic meet. Feeding any non bonafide students will lead to disqualification from the
meet.
3. Photograph of each player should be attested by the principal in the identity certificate.
4. The players right to participate forfeits if fails to produce the papers supporting the
eligibility in original on demand.
ENTRY FORM
Please find enclosed herewith the entry forms for different events in various category and
detailed entry performa. The same may please be filled in and sent to the address given
below:
1. Team photo with the school principal, category wise.
2. Identity card with events mentioned.
3. Photo copies of date of birth (either birth certificate or Aadhar) with a photo affixed
should be attested by the principal .
4. Entries without the above said will not be entertained to participate in the athletic
meet.
The filled in entry forms should reach us on or before ---7th July 2018. Late entry will
not be entertained.
