Here is the recap of Agweedo 6… The ongoing adventures of the free trader “The Venusian Wind”

March 4th week 3517,

The crew has just had there drives hardened for extra combat protection which kept them on Zandor
(A784886-C rich Gas Giant, Solo star) for a few extra weeks. Garden world with extensive flora and
fauna. With the drives finished the crew goes to the trade and commerce center and picks up 5 tons of
pharmaceuticals at 40% of base price and 18 tons of meat at 40% of base price with Verbal Carlos
doing an exceptional job on low ball purchases. The group is approached by a man named Jack Risser
who says he has a Belter ship Scout Seeker on the edge of system and would like the group to take him
and his crew of four there to retrieve his ship which needs power plant repair he insists that he has
found a vein of precious metals on one the moons of the gas giant and is willing to share the wealth
with the crew if they will take him to his ship to do the needed repairs. Captain Rodrigo declines and
says that they need to hire a transport shuttle and they cannot take this job they have business to attend
to. He leaves. Earlier Cowboy Jones reveals that he took an information disc from Big Dick Pliskon's
hotel room prior to the safari hunt battle last session. The information reveals that Snake Pliskon had a
secret ware house facility where he stashed his loot from pirating vessels on FuryFlame two parsecs
away.

Furyflame (CAC6200-8 Gas Giant, Scout Base Solo Star) Fury flame is a large world with a corrosive
atmosphere and surface temperatures averaging around boiling. The hydrographics is not water but a
liquid acidic substance. The population of about 880 live in a hollowed out mountain with a volcano
like entrance from the top which acts like an artificial tornadoes eye allowing ships to enter and land
while keeping the heat and corrosive atmosphere out. It is a lawless world with a small very light
attended Scout base on a small orbital asteroid above the planet. The people of Furyflame harvest the
acidic oceans to manufacture petrochemicals and most of the citizens are either burned or deformed
from close calls working in such a dangerous toxic environment. There is no actual functioning
government if anything it is like a small company outpost and a pirate haven..

The cargo that was purchased was inconsideration of high profitability on Furyflame. The crew did
notice that Jack Risser, his wife Norma Risser and their crew now upset had taken an interest in their
purchases. The crew also found 5 passengers for the trip to Furyflame at middle passage for two
parsecs two weeks FTL flight. All young poor ignorant men going to work harvesting petrochemicals
with prepaid tickets from The Furyflame company... So the crew was ready to take off prior to take off
they made their ship payment of 160,050Cr. and paid themselves their personal salaries of 25,000Cr.
for April...

So they made the leap into FTL hyperspace for the two week journey. The flight was uneventful but the
shannanigans between Engineer Stoney and Mecrenary Steward Cowboy Jones had reached its boiling
point. Stoney had rigged the ventilation ducts to emit a foul odor into the stateroom of Cowboy Jones.
Cowboy rather pissed off with the help of gunner Jack Skysin corrected the problem. When confronting
Stoney about it he lost his cool and outright punched Stoney with a solid hit knocking him down off his
feet. Stoney did not react and did not fight back either. Cowboy realizing Stoney wasn't going to fight
back left it at that. The sarcasm and joking between the two crew members had now turned to silence
and tolerance. Captain Rodrigo did not get involved but said well I think this situation has resolved
itself.
April 1st week 3517

The Venusian Wind came out of hyperspace perfectly at the 100 diameter point of Furyflame. They did
notice as they came out of FTL there was a ship which had taken course in there direction once they
appeared. Carlos running effective sensors realized that the ship was a Scout Seeker and it was on a
course directly towards The Venusian Wind.. Captain Rodrigo commanded them to turn away or their
actions will be considered hostile. The ship did not respond and Captain Rodrigo ordered his gunners
Jack Skysin and Jug Chome to fire on the vessel, A battle had begun. To there surprise one of ore bays
of the Seeker had opened up and a military fighter had just risen out of that bay. " Where is my
brother!!!" Yelled the female voice of Norma Risser maiden name Pliskon over the comms.. The battle
insued with both laser and missile fire. Thankfully to the skill of the Venusian Wind gunners all enemy
missiles were stopped. The Venusian Wind took an electronics hit, a fuel hit and a turret hit.. Stoney
was able to get the turret back up and functioning. The crews missiles were successful hitting the
seeker and doing extensive damage. Multiple fuel hits completely destroying the vessels jump drive
and rendering it powerless from to many fuel hits they completely destroyed it in an explosive critical
hit. The fighter that Norma was piloting also took a serious electronics hit and a crew cabin hit that
could have killed her. Realizing the fighter was rendered useless Jug and Skysin took the Air/Raft to
investigate. Norma Pliskon Risser was alive but unconscious. They had brought her onboard revived
her only to be threatened by her that the family organization would have their revenge. She was then
put into the lowberth next to her brother Captain Snake Pliskon. The crew was again saved by Jack
Skysin his high dexterity and gunner skills along with Jug's ability. Norma did acknowledge before
being put on ice that no one was ever able to defeat there attack as effectively as The Venusian Wind
had as she was also very saddened to realize her husband and crew were dead. The crew had also
brought Norma's fighter into the cargo bay and evaluated that the drives were still in perfect condition
and could be sold as salvage.

Once landing through the Mountain Entrance of Furyflame the crew soon realized they were being
watched. The other ships that were on the landing patches were a 400 ton Corsair, a 200 ton Far Trader,
two 100 ton Scout Seekers and another rag tag 200 ton Free Trader.. The crew had made it to the trade
center and sold their 5 tons of pharmaceuticals for more than triple their purchase price and the 18 tons
of meat for more than double making a hell of a score. They repaired there fuel tanks and filled up with
the available unrefined fuel. They did notice they were being watched and were approached by a thug
looking bald man with a pointy grey goatee. He asked Captain Rodrigo "So what happened to
Risser???" Rodrigo replied "Things happen Risser didn't make it". The crew very aware that they were
never going to leave Furyflame without being pursued by multiple ships started to think of how they
would escape. They decided to abandon there plans to explore Snake Pliskons secret loot facility.
Finally once they realized they were going to be ambushed if they stayed they decided there best option
was to just take off and fire upon the top of the Mountain exit forcing it closed so the other ships would
not be able to pursue. There was a risk to this if the hits were wrong and shut down the tornado effect it
could allow the corrosive atmosphere to pour on down killing the entire colony.
They took off fast and sure enough the Corsair fired up behind them. Captain Rodrigo made the
manuever for his gunners to fire to close the entrance but the manuever was poorly implemented.
Luckily again the great skill of Skyin and Chome compensated for the poor pilot mauever. They
successfully closed the Mountain entrance exit and did so without killing the population and protective
tornado effect. With no passengers, no cargo extensive profits and full fuel tanks the crew quickly
decided to engage the FTL drive on a 4 parsec month journey to a world rimward trailing of Furyflame.
They set there scopes for Jimbalayla (B878787-A Gas Giant Binary Star System).

Jimbalaya is a standard size world with a tainted standard atmosphere requiring filter masks to be worn
in the open. The planet is Earth sized with a 1G gravity a temperate climate and 80% hydrographics.
There is a population of 68 Million in various cities on the world. The world is governed by a civil
service bureaucracy controlled by the Interstellar Coalition agencies. The law level is high even
shotguns are prohibited most weapons that are carried are blade or melee type weapons on the surface
and those weapons are considered acceptable. The world has an extensive natural flora and fauna with
extremely large areas of untouched wilds…

2nd week May 3517 will be arriving at Jimbalayla

So this is where we closed the session after over three hours of play and interaction..
