SOME POINTS OF REFERENCE FOR INCOMING STUDENTS – (PERIOD OF

DATES:
• It is essential that you are in (hosting university) by ___________________. A
very important Orientation/Registration for visiting students is to be held on the
______. This meeting is organized by the International Office. All administrative
details are dealt with at this meeting.
• Bank Holidays/Festivities: ___________________________________________.
• Test/Examinations: The total time dedicated to end of semester tests is from
____________ to __________. However, students are free to choose courses
which have an early test date or which are examined by Written Assignment
instead. Students do have to remain in ____________ until they have completed
all their tests in order for their official documents to be issued.

PROCEDURES/DOCUMENTS:
All forms and documents mentioned below MUST be sent by the incoming students:
• Enrollment (Application) Form
• Health Form signed by student’s doctor
• Important Information Form (will be sent to you by email)
• Three (3) Passport Photos
• Copies of Health and Travel Insurance

HEALTH:
• Apart from the Medical Certificate which must be sent with the Application
Form, students will also be expected to have Medical Insurance which also covers
evacuation and repatriation. This Medical/Travel Insurance should also cover
belongings.
• (If applicable) Students will be asked to visit a Medical Centre in ________
during the first week of their stay. This is a National Requirement for temporary
residents from out of the E.U / Canada.

ACCOMMODATION:
• Students are to make their own (direct) arrangements for accommodation. For

VISA REQUIREMENTS:
• Visitors from Canada/Europe do not need an entry Visa for __________. This
covers entry for three months. Students will not need an exit or re-entry permit
either. But details for staying on for more than three months will be dealt with at
the Orientation meeting.
• Students are also required to inform the ____________ Police of their residence
in _______. The University will help with this procedure.

COURSES:
• Students are required to choose their courses off the course lists on the University
Website.
• Students can get in touch directly with the secretary to the Department to ask for
further details (such as in which semester certain courses are being offered).
• Course selection will be finalized at the Orientation Meeting on the __________.
• Students will also be required to select one CEMMENTI Recommended course
(at least).
• A total of 30 ECTS credits may be taken in a single semester. This number may
not be exceeded, but students may also choose to take less than 30 credits.
