COURSE DESCRIPTION

Introduction:

Based on students’ prior knowledge, this course is designed to reinforce the third year
LMD students language learning. It subjects students to basic grammatical conceptions in
order to develop knowledge of the form, meaning, and use of English linguistic property. The
course aims at enhancing the students’ academic acheivements in both written and oral
performances though raising the students awareness to the relatedness of grammatical and
lexical items.

Aims:

 Mastering grammatical aspects.

 Identifyng different lexical meanings.
 Interpreting anaphoric expressions.

Assessment:

The course assessment is based on tests, students’ performance in class and final term exam.

TD Mark: Test 1 – Class Performance 50%

Exam: 50 %
