Start By:

A. Remove the valve assembly from the hydraulic motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly
Manual, "Valve Assembly - Remove".

NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

1. Remove bolts (1) and remove hydraulic motor (3) from the winch. Remove O-ring seal (8).
Inspect the O-ring seal for wear or for damage. Replace the O-ring seal, if necessary.

2. Remove setscrew (2) if the setscrew is loose or damaged. The setscrew helps position the valve
and the manifold during installation.

3. Remove cap (7) and O-ring seal (6). Inspect the O-ring seal for wear or for damage. Replace the
O-ring seal, if necessary.

4. Remove adapter (5) and O-ring seal (4). Inspect the O-ring seal for wear or for damage.
Replace the O-ring seal, if necessary.

5. Remove hose assembly (9) from elbow (10) on the back of the hydraulic motor. Remove the
elbow. Remove the O-ring seal from the elbow. Inspect the O-ring seal for wear or for damage.
Replace the O-ring seal, if necessary.

 6. Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (12) from the groove. Remove spacer (11) and
retaining ring (12) from the hydraulic motor.

7. Use Tooling (A) to remove seal (13) from the hydraulic motor. Inspect the seal for wear or for
damage. Replace the seal, if necessary.
