A. Name of Firm

The name of our business is BES KAP’s Station (Funcake and Fun to Puto), we decided to let

this name to be the name of our store because it fits in all the standards that we set. It is unique,

catchy and based on trending because the word “BES” is popular and usually used by millennials

nowadays. It is also easy to pronounce and easy to remember. BES KAP was created because of

the combined name initials of the people that made this business, Buenaventura, Elanie, Sagun,

Kairos, Angel, and Philip. We named the pancake into Funcake and to match to the first product

we also name the puto into Fun to Puto.

B. Location

The BES KAP’s Station (Funcake and Fun to Puto) is located at Sitio Roque Compound 2

Himlayan Road, Barangay Pasong Tamo, Tandang Sora, Quezon City. It is near at Himlayan

Cemetery and Saint Anthony Academy of Quezon City, from this school you can walk or ride to

a yellow tricycle which is from Pasong Tamo Toda in order to come to our store. We decided to

build this business in this place because we noticed that there are so many children who play

around this location and since our target customers are children, we think that this place will be

the best place to build our business.

C. Brief Description

BES KAP’s Station (Funcake and Fun to Puto) is located at Sitio Roque Compound 2

Himlayan Road, Barangay Pasong Tamo, Tandang Sora, Quezon City. The store is offering two

products which are Fun to Puto that is cheesy, fluffy, milky, tasty and has different colors and

Funcakes that has three flavor, chocolate flavored funcakes, cheesy funcakes and the original

flavor of it that can be purchase in affordable price.

1. Historical Background of the Business

The idea of building a business started when the owner of the shop who are Ronel Christopher

Sagun, Elanie Quilang, and Lester Buenaventura are desiring to earn money. They decided to

build a business that is offering Pancakes and Puto because Ronel Sagun noticed that in their

place these products are easy to sell, so he suggest it to his friends . With the help of their parents

and the money that they save, they are able to buy the equipment, materials, ingredients and all

the needs of their shop and they started to open their shop last January 2018. With the thought

that this business will help them to prepare in the near future it gives them motivation to continue

and to keep this business grow.

2. Nature of Business

The Nature of Business of BES KAP’s Station (Funcake and Fun to Puto) is manufacturing

business since the owners of this store buys raw materials such as flour, sugar, milk, butter,

cheese etc. in order to cook or bake their products. The owners of this business will make sure

that the ingredients that they are going to buy are fresh so that the products will be healthy,

delicious and safe to eat. Funcakes and Fun to Puto will be sell in affordable prices so that the

target customers which are children can afford our yummy products. This business will maintain

their focus on cost reduction and optimal performance. Moreover we aim to promote customer

satisfaction through feed backs, review, and creating friendly relationship with our customers.
3. Types of Organization

The type of organization of BES KAP’s Funcake and Fun to Puto is Partnership, since this shop

is owned by 3 person. The owner of the shop is sharing all the obligations in this business even it

comes with the finances, debts, profits, losses and other problems that will come into their

business. The owner of this shop contributes money in order to build and buy the things needed

in this business. Partnership business has two classes which are general partnership and limited

partnership. So to become more specific, our business is in type of general partnership because

all the responsibilities in the business are taken by the owners themselves.
