 understand the West, Central and South musical elements through
demonstration
 Listen carefully and describe the musical elements of a given song
 recognize musical elements as a vital part in musical performances

E. Generalization
Musical Elements of West, Central and South Asia are the strong character of
their music. It has simple but unique vocal timbre using nasal and throaty style. Duple, triple and
quadruple in their rhythm with simple melody. Different texture as monophony, homophony and
heterophony can be seen as well as their dynamics and tempo helps to give bright in their
musical performance.

F. Application
 The class will divide into 6 groups
 Each group will describe the musical elements of the given musical
performance.
