A. Removal of the Lateral Seat Attached Parts in Zone 250
Ref. Fig. Seat Attached Parts at Door Area 2
(1) Remove the related monument components:

(a) Remove the ottoman cushion (8).

(b) Release the fastener (7) and remove the panel (6).
(c) Release the fastener (5) and remove the footrest panel (4).
(d) Remove the screws (3) and the literature pocket (2).
(e) Open the door (1).
(f) Remove the screws (11) and the grill (10).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors:

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE)

DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING
STRAP(S).
(a) Remove and discard the cable ties as necessary.
(b) Release the spring latches (12) and disconnect the electrical connectors (13)
and (14) from the bracket.
(c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.

(3) Remove the floor attachements:

(a) If they are installed, remove the screws (22) and the covers (21).
(b) Make match marks on the seat tracks to show the position of the monuments
(9).
(c) Remove the screws (15) and the washers (16) and (17).
(d) Remove the eccentric bushings (18) and (19) and if necessary, remove the
threaded bushings (20) with a SEAT ASSEMBLY TOOL - SEAT VENDOR.

WARNING: SUPPORT THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY CAREFULLY TO PREVENT INJURY

TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE.
THE UNIT/ASSEMBLY IS HEAVY.

CAUTION: WHEN YOU MOVE A HEAVY COMPONENT, DO NOT PUSH IT ALONG

THE CABIN FLOOR OR LET IT RUB AGAINST THE FLOOR. IF YOU DO,
YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CABIN FLOOR AND/OR THE
COMPONENT.
(4) Carefully lift the monument (9) and remove it.
(5) Remove the washers (23).
(6) Remove the seat-track attachments:

(a) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (26).

(b) Remove the screws (24) and the retainers (25).
(c) Pull the synthetic fibre-cords (28) and remove the sealant (27) from the seat
tracks.
(d) Remove the seat track fittings (26) from the seat tracks.

(1) Remove the related monument components:

(a) Remove the ottoman cushions (9).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE)

DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING

(a) Remove and discard the cable ties as necessary.
(b) Release the spring latches (15) and disconnect the electrical connectors (16)
and (17) from the bracket.
(c) Put a CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector.
(d) Remove the screws (12), the washers (13) and the bonding straps (14).
(3) Disconnect the stowage assemblies (2):

(a) Open the doors (4) as necessary.

(b) Remove the screws (26) and the grills (25) to get access.
(c) Remove the screws (27) and the cover (28).
(d) Remove the screws (29) and the cap (30).
(4) Remove the tie-rods and upper attachments:

(a) Remove the screws (3) and the pelmet (1).

(b) Remove the quick-release pin (22) and safety the tie-rod (18) to the aircraft
structure.
(c) If necessary, hold the tie-rod (18), remove the quick-release pin (24) and
carefully remove the tie-rod (18).
(d) Remove the screws (21), the washers (20) and the upper attachment (19).
(5) Remove the floor attachments:

(a) Make match marks on the seat tracks to show the position of the monuments
(2).
(b) If they are installed, remove the screws (38) and the covers (37).
(c) Remove the protective wax (40) from the head of the screws (31) if
applicable.
(d) Remove the screws (31) and the washers (32) and (33).
(e) Remove the eccentric bushings (34) and (35) and if necessary, remove the
threaded bushings (36) with a SEAT ASSEMBLY TOOL - SEAT VENDOR.

(6) Carefully lift the related monument (2) and remove it.
(7) Remove the washers (39).
(8) Remove the seat-track attachments:

(a) Record the position of the seat-track fittings (42).

(b) Remove the screws (40) and the retainers (41).
(c) Pull the synthetic fibre-cords (45) and remove the sealant (44) from the seat
tracks.
(d) Remove the seat track fittings (43) from the seat tracks.
