It is my great desire to thank those who made it possible for the completion of this assignment. First and
foremost let me thank the workers of the National Commercial Bank for their massive support and
cooperation, also for finding time to answer the questionnaire given.

Members of my family have been a constant support of encouragement and support. I would like to
thank my dear friend, Gavarese Brown, who has found precious time to give her assistance. I would also
like to thank my Office Administration teacher, Mrs Lewis, for giving a basis outline in what is to be
done. Finally, I give thanks to God for giving me strength and courage to press on, keeping me through
the late nights and finding that determination within me through this exercise.

1. How well does the National Commercial Bank uses office equipment to assist the workers in
carrying out their duties.
2. How office equipment affect the productivity and accuracy of the workers at the National
Commercial Bank.

Dear Sirs:

My name is Antonia Coach, a student of the Frome Technical High School where I am currently in grade
eleven preparing for the 2015 CSEC examination. I am writing regarding my ‘School Base Asse ssment’
(SBA) In Office Administration for the year 2015.
As a part of the requirement for the examination, I must complete a research. The topic of my research
is How does Office Equipment impact the workers of the Accounting Department of the National
Commercial Bank (NCB) Savanna-la-mar.

I am requesting an interview at your organization to learn more about the impact of Office Equipment
on the workers. I would also like to hand out questionnaires to members of your staff and to observe
the workers on the job for my Office Orientation School Base Assessment.

I am looking forward to your early and favourable reply.

In completing this research information was gathered by sending out application letters to the
organization requesting an interview in order to interact with the members of staff by questioning them.
The following methods were used:

Questionnaires- This method was used because the questions asked were answered by the person in a
friendly and accurate way. This was the best way to receive enough information I needed. Twenty
questionnaires were prepared for the employees.

Interviews- This method was chosen because it allows the person who is being interviewed to answer
the questions in a complete and understanding way due to personal contact which took place in the
Customer Service office. The manager was the person being interviewed at the moment. Five questions
were asked of him in order to gain valuable information for this research.
Observation – I chose this method because it shows how the organization performs. It also allow the
researcher to observe the actions of the staff on a daily basis.

4. What are some of the strategies implemented to get work done on a daily basis?

emergency.
Staff Rules
One of the major rule that i was being compel with by the researcher was the use of cellular phones.
The use of cell phone was prohibited within the organization.
