HR Measures that matter


Now a day’s employee’s expectation is very high from organization as they shift from working
‘for’ to working ‘with’. HR have to take care of employee’s need to grow their organization and
should create the environment that their employee wants, nowadays every organization have
Young employees who want some motivation factor to work for them salary is not the key
factor which matter the most. Changes in technology is also affecting the way in which business
operates that’s why organization has to adapt these changes for better future growth. HR play a
very significant role in any organization. HR should know what their employee’s want from
there organization and act accordingly so that their employee will work effectively to achieve
organization goal. So, for that HR should take certain measure which will help them to meet
their employee’s expectation. In below areas measure should be taken:
Culture:
Culture play a very important role for any organization to grow as retention of there
employee’s will nowadays depends on the organization culture. young employee’s want a
friendly and supporting culture where they can work peacefully and can grow. Nowadays no
body wants a politics in their team, this is one of the examples of bad culture. culture directly
impact the productivity of their employees. HR should focus more to create a collaborative,
empowered, employee-oriented, innovative culture. If HR would able to achieve these types of
culture then their employee will work effectively to achieve organization goal.
Immersive Experience:
Currently 60% of workforce is millennials and will be 80% by 2025. These millennials want
employee experience and to create such experience HR should have to create a personalized on
the learning, smart workspaces, customized employee reward program, interaction with
leadership team there are some ways.
Blended Workforce:
Nowadays people want that every type of employee (ex: Temporary worker, permanent
worker, contractual worker, freelancer, agencies) should work together in one team to achieve
one goal. HR should try to create such teams and include all of them to meet employee’s
expectation.
Technology:
Technology is changing rapidly and to keep the pace every organization should adapt new
technologies and should train their employee’s in those technologies to retain great talent. HR
should make plans to make good use of new technology coming in future (Ex: E-recruitment,
artificial intelligence). These tech tools should be used to make end user experience great. Any
organization has to adapt these technology change to grow. Even organization is using
technology-based app and website for employee attendance, leave, productivity etc. These
technology makes thing easy to employer as well as employee.
Reward and Recognition:
R&R schemes are there in organization to rewards employee who are performing extremely
well. These rewards can be monetary and non-monetary. These types of rewards are
motivating factors for employees to work better to get rewarded. HR should take R&R very
seriously as employee’s are motivated from R&R. HR should plan their R&R program efficiently
to attract employees to work hard to get rewards. Every organization is investing very much in
their R&R program. nowadays employees also expect very much from there organization in
terms of rewards and recognition. Every employee wants to get rewarded and recognized.
Everybody wanted their hard work should recognized by their manager that’s why their R&R
program are made. Technology are used to make these R&R program more attractive.
Employee’s are rewarded with reward points which they can redeemed with large no of
options.
Learning:
From the above I can conclude that now employees are expecting very much from organization
in terms of rewards, experience, culture and if these all things will be provided to there
employee, they will work effectively to help organization to achieve their goals. Above factors
also help organization to increase employee’s productivity as these as the motivating factor for
them. This is the generation of millennium who expect great future, good package, higher
growth and if they get all of these, they will very hard. HR has to work on all of these things to
meet employee expectation.
