 MECHANICAL SEPARATOR:
ITS CARACTERISTICS

The Separator: is a continuous flow Turbo Machine,

capable of separating a mixture of fluids or a
combination of fluids and solids by their specific
gravity and size.

It produces a vortex that pushes the heavier

 WHY IS BIDIOX DIFFERENT FROM OTHER H2O2
PRODUCTS

Undesired stabilisers for H2O2 different from BIDIOX®:

Commercial H2O2 solutions contain 0.005 –1.5% impurities. These impurities

are aromatic hydrocarbons and other organic compounds used during
purification of thee crude product.

An extensive range of additives for stabilising hydrogen peroxide and

aqueous hydrogen peroxide solutions has been investigated. They include,
e.g. silver nitrate, inorganic salts like phosphates, pyrophosphates or
stagnates, organic compounds, such as organic chelates or organic
acids (e.g. acetic acid), various phosphonic acids, including ethylene
diamine tetra methylene phosphonic acid (EDTMP) and diethylene
triamine penta methylene phosphonic acid (DTPMP), acetonitrile,
oxyquinoline sulfate, etc.

These are dangerous stabilizers and leave a residue on the surface.

PRODUCTS
BIDIOX® stabilised hydrogen peroxide solution without addition
of silver, because:
• Silver is toxic to all living cells
• Silver contributes to antibiotic resistance
• Silver is deposited around nerves and in deeper skin layers and
may cause permanent skin damage.
• Silver is intimately associated with environmental contamination
of other toxic heavy metals such as mercury and lead
• Silver sticks to fish gills, potentially choking them to death
• Silver disturbs bacterial activity when cleaning sewage
• Silver prevents the use of sludge as fertilizer, needed for nutrient
recycling

BIDIOX is the first hydrogen peroxide with an organic stabiliser, a polyalcohol.

BIDIOX is not toxic and thus harmless to humans, animals and plants. What’s
more, it is 100% biodegradable biocide.
The applications are numerous, including:
• plant protection - to control plant diseases
• livestock - to reduce diseases, stress and smell in stables
• spaces and surfaces - disinfection of (cold) storage rooms; technology
can also be used for the treatment of public buildings, hospitals, etc.
• drinking water - for treatment of raw water and controlling of microbial
levels of distributed water
• process & waste waters for oxidation of organic matter, removal of
undesired organic compounds, pesticide residues etc., as well as for
controlling microbial levels and biofilms
• decontamination of food - vegetables and fruits.

BIDIOX is even more stable than H2O2 with silver, which has been known a

1.- - Process and clean the water coming from dehydration processes, put
them in conditions of re-use and / or be transferred to water tanks or other
disposal.
2.- It increases the efficiency of oil treatment facilities by immediately
processing the mixture of water, oil and solids contained in the fluid that is
coming from the dehydration process or similar, reducing residence time for
the separation.
3.- The water, with very little crude and solids, receives a dose of BIDIOX,
at the outlet of the Secondary Separator, maximizing the action of the
biodegradable components of BIDIOX and eliminating the residues of the
oil and solids contained in the line, in addition, eliminates fungi, viruses and
bacteria that are present in the line.

4.- Due to its modular design, it allows to increase the processing capacity
of oil water, which allows to manage and condition the infrastructure for the
expected water increase in the future.
