Introduction Speech for Dr.

When we were younger, we had personal connotations over heroes. To name a few, we name them Superman,
Spiderman, Captain America and the like. Locally, we also adore Super Twins, Captain Barbell, Panday,
Krystalla, and Darna. These heroes are famous of defending humanity from all forms of antagonism, subversion,
and evilness.

Today, I am honored and privileged to be introducing a superhero. But this time, I am not introducing one in a
skin-tight body suit with a big, billowing cape but a hero in a (state what she is currently wearing). I know this
one is difficult but the thought that she is a woman of excellence, virtue, service, and commitment, I feel elated
to introduce her to everyone this morning.

Like any other heroes, she was not an off the peg or ready-made hero. She started her superhero adventures when
she finished Bachelor of Arts major in English, History, General Science and minor in Mathematics in Osias
Colleges. After her graduation from the said institution, then 23, she became …

As his power grew strong and stronger, he was then looked upon by the other heroes of Misamis Oriental as a
leader. He was elected as President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines – Misamis Oriental Chapter
during his last term in service as Municipal Mayor of Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

Bold-spirited, he hurdled and super-mounted countless challenges in his heroic adventure and quest for peace and
progress. He was then the Representative of the Second District of Misamis Oriental, where in he mainly pushed
on Barangay Empowerment. He also took part in the passage of key legislations as well as actively participated
in committee hearings where he was a member during his 2 terms in the House of Representatives, from 2007 –
2013.

Presently, she has been serving multiple heroic tasks, which he can do pro-actively, productively, and persistently.
He sits as governor of Misamis Oriental and is now on his last term of office. He has mainly dealt on promoting
eco-tourism development and made it the flagship program of his administration, which is supported by the eight
pillars of governance which are environment, infrastructure, education, agriculture, health, transportation,
cooperative, and peace and order.

I think like any other heroes, she has also been recognized in various folds. Her achievements are truly
commendable as they mirror her great sense of commitment, hard work and passion. Her non-compliance to
mediocrity made an indelible mark in our country when she was one enlisted as one of the country’s most
accomplished institutional management experts. Other awards include the Lifetime Professional Achievement
from the Commission on Higher Education and recently, the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany
(Verdienstorden der Bundesrepublik Deutschland).

Truly, she is a hero. Someone, who has given her life to something bigger than oneself. A person whose brand of
progressive excellence, leadership and heroism geared the institution towards achieving greater successes and
developments. A servant who, amidst her busy and tiresome schedule, still remains gorgeous and admirable.

Ladies and gentlemen, without any further ado, let me present to you, the woman of the hour, the woman behind
the continuous partnership between Germany and Liceo U, Dr. Teresita Tumapon! Let’s give her a reverberating
round of applause.
